This silverware is only medium weight, 3.5 oz, compared to the stainless set that is marked heavy weight, 7 oz. They are built well and look easy to use. The carry case is well-made. I didn't necessarily want the knife, but it came with it. I caution on giving this knife to someone with tremors because this knife actually has a razor-sharp edge that I was not expecting. I would like the option to purchase these pieces separately as I usually need to replace forks and teaspoons faster than knives and soup spoons.

I have an elderly family member who struggles with grip strength, especially with small diameter items like utensil handles. These handles are perfect for him, much larger handles with soft, flexible grips make it easy for him to use.

This utensil set is wonderful. High quality and easy for my 80 year old father to use. He likes them very much and eating is easier for him to do with independence!

These are a good weight, not too heavy nor light, and really helped my relative. Note the handle isn’t sealed, so these should be hand washed.

With hand problems, it became difficult to hold ordinary silverware to eat. This is perfect or my aging fingers!

These have made all the difference in helping our elderly father eat independently! He has severe arthritis in his hands and very low strength in his arms. He is able to hold onto these utensils and feed himself due to the bulked up handles, yet they are very lightweight. They come wrapped in a nice napkin carrying case which also keeps them clean. We highly recommend!

Ordered for father-in-law bc of Essential tremors. I believe it was a light weight I ordered. Better off with a heavier set. All in all very durable.

My husband is losing the use of his arms and hands and this set has the only fork that he can use to allow him independence. The utensil handles are not round but flatter and this is what allows my husband to use the fork effectively. We have tried others and this is the only one that works for him. I bought a second set just to have a second fork on hand. This set came very quickly and in a nice carrying case. Highly recommended!
