Great fit on my 2" receiver
The plugs are made of a what seems to be injection-molded plastic. It's hard to the touch but retains some light flexibility that allows it to be mounted rather easily in the receiver. It also has good retention once installed. I want to plug the front side of my receiver as well, but I will have to swing my spare tire out of the way to make enough room.

This trailer hitch cap works great as a generic cap. It's got a snug fit and seems really durable. I got it to keep stuff from getting into the opening of my trailer hitch, and I didn't want to pay for an expensive branded one from my car company. I thought it might tempt someone to steal it. Well, this is the second time I've bought this item in the past year, because my first one was stolen. LOL! People will steal anything, but at least this was a lot cheaper than the branded one.

Nice Plastic Receiver Plug
I was looking for something to plug the hitch receiver hole on the back of my pickup to keep dirt and moisture out over the winter. This plug has done that nicely.

Works
Simple product that does the job. It doesn't look cheap, but like others have mentioned, it is not incredibly tight. That being said,, it hasn't fallen off with my initial use. I think it looks better than the ones with the retaining loop 8r the ones with branding. I will update if it loosens up over time. If it doesn't then it is a good value and definitely worth it to me.

DOES NOT FIT
Do not purchase this item as it will not attach into the opening in a 2" Trailer Hitch.I have ordered and used many similar items for my trucks but this is the first time I received one that will not attach into the hitch opening securely. It is loose and will nor stay snug.

My hitch didn't come with a cover so this was a perfect fit.

Fits perfect.
Worked perfectly to make a custom hitch cover for him. It fits perfectly into the reciever. Will definitely use again for upcoming projects
