This is a good set of brushes for oil painting. They're just stiff enough and they hold a lot of paint. So far they're holding up well easy to clean and reshape.

The set is made with great attention to detail and has a beautiful design. The quality is evident and they feel nice to hold. Overall, I'm very pleased with their craftsmanship, and the carrying case keeps everything together. Priced at $23.99, it offers decent quality and value for a set of 10 brushes and 3 paint mixing knives. I originally planned to return this set after receiving another one I had bought, but I couldn't bring myself to part with this set because it's so nice, and the brush hairs felt really good. Based on looks alone, I would recommend this set. I also love the sturdy feel of the knives, and I'll update this review after trying out the complete set.

These paint brushes are super versatile, high quality, and create beautiful strokes on your canvas. My wife absolutely loves the sock nest, easy cleanup, and of course, the results they give to her artwork. Definitely a great buy!

These are nice brushes. I love them.

Brushes work nicely for a little while and then begin to shed and fall apart. I’ve bought twice now and both times the brushes began falling apart after ~2 weeks. Fine for a student but not worth the money. I suggest purchasing a better brand for long-term use. The glue that holds the bristles seems to be water or liquid soluble; leaving your brushes in cleaner or water overnight will make the shedding way worse, which is my mistake but worth a mention.

I was hesitant to purchase these, but these are excellent brushes. I have used these to work on a few large paintings and maintained them with a few different brush dips, and the hairs have held their shape and not fallen out. I use a mix of varying brush hairs, and if you are not familiar with hog bristles, they are great for adding a lot of texture with oil paint – not so much for detail work. I enjoy them enough that I will probably buy a second set just for a traveling backup.

I am disappointed and do not recommend these brushes because the hair fell out right away. The first time I used the brushes during clean up all of the hairs fell out of a large brush. Later I tried another brush from this set. I am still plucking off individual hairs that fell out onto my painting that time. Don’t waste your money on these.
