I’m not usually one to leave reviews but this deserved one! I was VERY thorough and picky when it came to picking a baby monitor. We recently moved our 7 month old son into his crib into his own room and this gave us absolute peace of mind! The image quality is amazing! The sound is amazing!!! And it’s so quick and easy to put up and use! The battery is complained about some by some reviewers but honestly I don’t find it THAT bad. When I put my some down to nap during the day I have it off the charger and I’d say it keeps a good charge. He takes 2, 1.5 hr naps usually and this lasts all day...maybe at one bar by the end but that’s a pretty good battery life for me! At night I keep it plugged in on the charger so I can check in on his all night with peace of mind the battery won’t be dying on me. If you’re wanting a baby monitor that has all these things for a great price, I promise you won’t regret this one!!! I hunted and hunted and took a chance on this one and I’m soo glad I did!!! Had it for over a month now and it’s been 100% amazing since day one!!! You won’t regret this purchase!!!

Great product. Everything you need for a great price. I have only had it a week so we shall see if it holds up well. The last monitor we had was an audio one only and it lasted a year. So I hope this lasts as long. That one was $20. I got this one now that she is 18 months and likes to hang in her room at times. The room is baby proofed so when she is in there I have a little room to do laundry or wash dishes while I keep an eye on her through the monitor. Only down side for us is that it’s difficult to mount. Where you mount it is in an awkward position. We have yet to find a good spot. Could be just how we need it though. I need a shot of her floor area ... if I needed it right on the crib it would be no problem.

UPDATE #2: After contacting the sellers about the charging issue, they replied (took a few days) and apologized and sent me a replacement immediately. I really appreciate when people stand by their products and do what's right. The replacement arrived last night and appears to be in excellent working condition. If I have any other issues, I will update again. I'm hoping for the best. 😊 I changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars.UPDATE: The charging issue is only getting worse. For paying 70some bucks, I am very disappointed. After messing around with the cord to get it in just the right position, one slight little touch is all it takes to disengage the charger. So you'd better hope you don't accidentally bump it in the middle of the night! I'm going to try to contact the seller..Everything about this camera is wonderful except for the charging cord or the port itself.. Not sure which. It is very picky about how it gets plugged in. If I twist the cord the slightest bit while it's charging, it will stop charging until I put it back to that one tiny location. I hope that makes sense. It's like there's a short in the cord or in the port. I don't know..

I have a special needs daughter who has seizures at night. Some of these video monitors either have to use your phone so you can’t see them unless you unlock your phone and open the app or the picture quality is pretty poor. I can see her chest moving at night when she breathes. That’s how clear it is. I’ve had it a couple months and I love it! Now when I hear a strange noise in her room at night, I don’t have to jump up and go check on her. I can just glance over at the monitor. Plus, if she’s moved and gotten herself in a weird position, I can see her and go reposition her before I fall asleep. The battery on this thing last almost all day. I unplug it about bring it out to the living room when I wake up before her. If I forget to put it back and plug it in, it’s still going over 12 hours later! The eyes glow white at night which is a little weird but that’s to be expected with pretty much all night vision cameras. Worth the money! If this thing breaks in a year; I’d buy it again.

When prepping as first time parents, I had no idea what to look for in a baby monitor. less than a year in in, i can tell you—this isn’t it. Less than a year in, the picture and audio have been gradually fading. The audio (most important part) makes a terrible hissing 9 months in so have fun sleeping with constant static. The battery life is so bad we have to keep it plugged in to hold its longest charge (for overnight). it lasts maybe 6 hours if you keep it plugged in all day, if you unplug it at all for naps the charge is less, so we need to constantly move the cord with the thing so it doesn’t beep loudly and wake us up in the middle of the night. There’s no way to turn off that the beep without turning off the monitor. Both camera and monitor need to always be plugged in, and even though the white cords for camera and monitor are identical, it seems that you cannot use them interchangeably. So If, like us, you forget one of the cords on a trip and think you’ll be able to charge the monitor until it’s time to plug in the camera to use—wrong. The signal doesn’t work.If you want something cheap because you don’t know how or if you’ll use a baby monitor, this is definitely cheap. But not worth it, because here I am researching monitors all over again after nine months of useNote: This is 100% one of those China cheapies you find all over Amazon now. The brand on my monitor is “SmartTree.” I didn’t even realize the brandless photo attached to the product... who would ever buy a baby monitor branded “baby monitor” in the image?? Huge red flag. Don’t be fooled by the price, you’ll need to buy something else in a short amount of time.Worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon, hands down.
