I did not know what these were called until the 1st grade requested them for my grandson. I couldn't find them anywhere but I found them on amazon just in time for school.

These notebooks are exactly as described, and they work well to help make kids' writing more legible. I use them with older kids as well, and I wish they'd remove the K-2nd reference on the cover.
