RockDoveMen's Alexander Flannel Lined Loafer Slipper

This is the 4th pair of RockDove shoes I have ordered for my husband over I think 4 or 5 years. He has worn out a pair of the Hearthfire slippers, and is working on his second pair of those.The product information page for these slippers from the seller suggested in the first paragraph that you order a size UP. My husband usually wears a 9 so I ordered a 10...and by golly they fit perfectly!! They fit just like the 9 in his Hearthfire slippers.The shoes are nice looking, and my husband says they are comfortable. They have the flannel inside so they will be warm, but I am hoping they will end up being cooler than the Hearthfire slippers so he can wear them in the summer in the house. He is cold natured so I think that will work. They are nice enough that he can wear them when I drag him to the grocery store with me.The sole of the shoe is sturdy and durable. It is the same as his other slippers by RockDove and I know those hold up very very well for a long time. These shoes are an unbelievable value for what you get. They are quite well made for such inexpensive slippers. They are not at all flimsy either. I am a fan of the RockDove line of men's slippers and my husband is too.

Comfy slippers, wash and dry well (they do get smelly after a bit, but that's more my problem then then. Look sharp and have held up nicely!

I liked these slippers. I picked these slippers because they had cotton lining ,so my feet would be comfortable and not hot, like so many slippers are. They recommended you purchase a size larger than normal. I purchased my normal size and they were a size too large I had to return them. The quality of the slippers was good and had a good rubber sole.

This was my first review upon first trying these on : Thought these looked comfortable. They are not. They’re plasticy and stiff. These are not the slippers you’re looking for.This is my edited review after breaking them in and wearing them a few times: wow was I wrong about these slippers. I tried them on barefoot right away, and maybe I was already having a high pain day, but I thought they were stiff and uncomfortable.They are not.They are about as comfortable a shoe as I’ve had since shoes became painful to me. I had been unable to leave the house at all for months because I couldn’t tolerate shoes.The manufacturer was so nice when I complained to them, they didn’t even make me send these back. And I am very grateful, because when I tried them properly, and broke them in a bit by hand, and worse them with socks to leave the house, they were sooo soft and pliable and comfortable. I was able to wear them for several hours without unusual pain. They don’t pinch or bind anywhere. The soles are soft and well cushioned.I hope they have more if I ever wear these out, but they seem solid enough to last a long time.Apologies to the manufacturer and to anyone misled by my initial review. They were so worth a second chance.

I usually wear a size 8-1/2, and the 9s I bought are pretty snug. There's not much cushion/support, so I had to add inserts (thought they were memory foam, but I guess I dreamt that). They do fit over the heel, which I like, but I probably wouldn't buy them again.

These slippers were perfect for his everyday use: good support, heavy sole for outdoor use; good looks and did run small as advised - one size larger was perfect.

these are good. a little "spongy" since there are two layers of foam rubber in the foot pad. So it you want comfort, these are for you.

They are nice slippers but they do run a little small. Overall pretty good value. Order at least 1 size larger.
