Mini DSLR/SLR Camera Tripod Gravity Hook,Premium Metal Body Stable Shooting Tripod Hook with 3/8 Spring for GITZO for BENRO Camera

This fit my Davis & Sanford TR654C-36 Traverse Carbon Fiber tripod perfectly. And I don’t think I’ll be losing the hook again because of the nylock nut.

I got this because the hook fell out of my tripod with the nut and spring still inside the center column. I couldn't, and still can't, get it out so I needed a solution so that I can raise the column all the way up without it coming out. This is a cost efficient and really simple solution. I had a rubber disc on the Benro version so I just slid that onto this one so that when the legs collapse in, they don't bang super hard to the column.In case it helps anyone with fitting, I have the Benro TMA47AXL Extra Long Series 4 Mach3 Aluminum Tripod. I'm a real estate photographer and this thing does the trick.

This is an aftermarket version of the famous Gitzo G2020 hook.Even though it is made from the metal it does not have the protective rubber ring around the large circle compare to the original Gitzo G2020 hook. The purpose of the rubber ring on the Gitzo original hook is to protect the carbon fiber legs from the scratches.I bought it and decided to return it and bought the original Gitzo hook.

I like the long hook, wide enough to hang more weight options. Threads were a little loose so I added a drop of blue locktight.

Works well and is very nicely made.

Nice design, appears to be sturdy enough for my needs.

It fits my tripod and allows the hanging of weights for rocks for stability.
