This is a nice hat. Beware, it’s not really a Stetson. It’s made in Mexico and is basically one of those hats you buy in Tijuana. I don’t know how they get away with the Stetson brand, but this isn’t it. CompRe it to a real Stetson and you’ll quickly feel and see the difference.Having said that, it’s a heat hat. Mexican artisans know how to weave straw and the result is great bits a SUPER light and breathable hat, the shoe is perfect (for me), it’s understated, durable, and a great throw-around hat. Quality-wise it’s similar to what you might find at a truck stop or tourist stand. It’s a $30 hat. But I love it. PS- I ditched the neck-tie cord. But it’s good. Good hat. Love the style and breathability.

I love this hat. It’s well made and looks good. It’s light weight and vented enough to wear on hot summer days!

I've had a lot of hats. This fits great (7 3/8) without any extra attachments. The venting and (of course) the cowboy style, keeps the hat in place. I haven't been in a big wind, yet, but I'm pretty sure the hat is staying on my head.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars: The bead and the leather hatband/chin strap combination could be better. The bead does not stay in place, but the hat does, so it's. probably never going to be an issue.This is probably the most breathable straw hat I own and will be my number one, until next fall and winter.May 24, 2023 Update: I love this hat. I've been wearing it most everyday. It keeps the sun off of my face and ears. It's so light, you can forget it's on your head. The chin strap issue was easily resolved, simply by tying a loose knot below the bead. I added a light latex hat reducer, but didn't need much. It helps in a strong wind. Most of the time it's not necessary to use the chin strap at all. I've changed my rating to 5 stars. I love this hat!August 8, 2023 Update… I’ve worn this hat almost everyday since I got it. In lots of sun and heat. It’s been on ass kicking hikes, long walks, picket lines, and in the car.Along with my prescription wraparound sunglasses, I’ve been prepared for everything this long hot summer can throw at me. The hat stays in place, unless there’s a strong gust. Otherwise, it absolutely doesn’t come off. It absorbs a lot of sweat and dries quickly.Last, but not least, I get a lot of compliments when I’m wearing it.

I’m Darin, Andrea’s husband…BLUF I have a MASSIVE head! I love drinking at my pool, getting crazy is my favorite verb and I’m not only a handful…I’m something else, too! The only thing I’ve wanted for the past three years is a straw hat that I could wear while going bananas BUT NONE WOULD FIT!! My head is basically the size of a mailbox, so this journey was a LotR style epic! Well, dear readers…this hat literally SAVED MY LIFE!! It fits, and let the stupid antics Olympics begin! SPOILER ALERT: I’m going to retire undefeated!!

Fit was great and very airy. No heat build up

Poor workmanship had frays and unraveling especially around the rim strings or pieces of the straw dangling then in between weaving you see through holes inconsistent... however this is the second 1 the first one was an outstanding but I gave it away and then I get this 1 and I'm very disappointed but the first 1 I give it 5 stars.

Cute hat, and very stylish. I am small but found the medium size had a better fit. The color and quality are good. Love this hat!

I really like this hat because it's narrow, sometimes when I'm working I don't need a wide rim, this hat gives great ventilation and it has a feel of a Stetson. That might sound kind of weird but if you know the brand you know what I mean.

Fits great to size and love the look of it.

Quality is worth the money!
