These actually worked perfect for my 11yr old boy. He hiked a major mountain and the durability on these was perfect! No sliding, bunching or not even too big. Super lightweight, and super easy to put on.

Wore them on a several day hike and was very disappointed; product did not hold up well at all - buttons didn't stay buttoned, they rusted after a small rain shower, and the sewing started to come undone to name only a few issues.

I used them once and boot strap ripped off after trying to adjust it. The rest is built very well but the straps are poor quality.

They are more adjustable at the calf and the fabric is better than the ones I looked at in the store in person. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised at the good quality I found with these. So much so that I bought 3 more pair for my adult kids for the next trip out into the trails and brush of hiking. . .Could have used these at Grayson Highlands a month ago.
