Perfect
Finally, something to hold your phone and your drink. I’ve tried magnetic /air vent phone placement devices with some success and dashboard and windshield devices with less success. I saw a similar item advertised on FB. I always check now ( been burned more than once buying something on FB ) to see if they were a legitimate seller. Sure enough, I wasn’t able to confirm the other company was legitimate, so when I saw this one, I noticed it was made in America and it looked like it would work well. It holds the phone very well, in a position that makes the phone easy to see for maps for example. While I can take the phone out with one hand, it’s takes some attention to put it in with one hand, two hands is very easy. Once it’s in, it stays put though. Leaving the cup holder open for a drink is an added bonus.

Good Phone Holder
Phone holder worked great in a 2017 Subaru Legacy holding a iPhone 13 Pro Max in an Otterbox Defender case. Viewing angle is good and it did not block any heater controls. To place the phone in the holder, I did not "slide down from the top". Rather, I would hook the phone in on one side, spread the other arm out (with my other hand) until it captured the phone, and then I would push the phone down until it sat on the lower arms. This was a two hand operation. Sounds complicated, but it is really easy. To take the phone out I could do it with one hand (with a little dexterity). Just spread one of the arms out and pop the phone out.First bought in late 2021. One of the arms just broke today so I got two years out of it. Liked it so much I'm buying another one.

Works well
I feel I it's a little pricey for what you get

Flimsy...
Flimsy. Location to shifter made it awkward to position as well.

Doesn't stay put
I bought this for my daughter to use in her new car and we both thought it was really cool that you could fully use your cup holder and keep your phone handy all in one. She used it every day, I thought I'd really got her something she liked. But every day when you get in the car, the thing has popped out and is somewhere on the floor. It does it even when she's driving. I thought maybe using it for a while, especially in the heat of summer, would help mold it to sit in the cup holder better, but it steadily just jumps out even with her phone in the holder.

Rated 6 stars if I could!!
I have a Ford SUV and this Kuryakyn holder is exactly what I was looking for. I'm so happy with it that I bought a second one. Most cup holders are over engineered, too large, too complicated and too obnoxious. I really dislike ratchet clamps to hold the phone in place. This holder is perfect! It is slim, minimalistic, yet strong. It fits in the cup securely and leaves it usable for a water bottle without compromising the second cup holder where my coffee goes. It sits nice and low at the perfect angle. It doesn't obscure any buttons on the phone or car console, nor the phone's fingerprint sensor. The phone slides in easily and clicks securely on my Pelican phone case. There is no bounce, no vibration, no sliding out. Removing the phone is even easier! No hunting for a mystery release button; just pull the phone out while slighly bending an arm. The only thing disappointing is not finding this holder years ago. 100% recommended.

This is total genius!
I have a vehicle that just does not have a good place to mount a phone holder and I have always avoided the cupholder mounts because I NEED my cupholder. Well this gem showed up on a search and instinctively I searched for other similar products, which I found NONE! I researched the company and was very impressed by their products (most of which are for motorcycles and they have a really fun social media presence), so I thought I would give it a shot. Shipping was estimated at about a week out and it arrived in 2 days!! The build quality is awesome, very heavy duty plastic with really good flexibility. My cupholder in my vehicle barely fits my 26oz Camelback water bottle, I put in the Kuryakyn and it didn't eat up much space at all, my water bottle still fits. And I actually love the position of the phone. I am used to having my phone higher at eye level, but I really like having it accessible a little lower, it feels easer to reach. I have a Galaxy s21 with a wallet case so it is about .5" thick and it fits PERFECT! Very easy to slide in and out. I am extremely happy with this product and will be buying more when the need is there. I wish they made more products like this! I guess I need to get a motorcycle.

Not completely satisfied
It was too tall for the drink cup holder. It interfered with the radio controls.
