Used this as a 3 way valve on my pond. Works well as it does not restrict flow and you can adjust the flow rate as you want. I had problems sealing the threaded connectors with PTFE tape , had to use old style sealing compound and hemp. But a good piece of kit

It all works well and it has solved the swimming pool problem I had, but the seals leak, even with the plumbers tape supplied.I used it to provide a switchable circuit between the direct pump channel (which provides enough pressure to drive the pool hoover) and the heating mat channel (which doesn't). It does the job and all the pats are very sturdy. The switch itself is very stiff, I used some silicon grease to ease it a little bit.I have ordered some o-rings separately. The size you need are 45mm OD, 38mm ID.

The actual valve is ok, not great because the hose tails need to be screwed in before attaching the hoses. It is very hard to move, no doubt a design feature. Then the main problem the T piece is to short to secure 32mm hoses without leaks. I have spent a very frustrating time discovering I can't stop water leaking. I have bought another different style of hose splitter.

As expected though lever a bit stiff and could do with some rubber seals to help pipe fittings

This is a must if you have a solar pool heater, this allows the water to slowly travel through the heater warming the water, makes a noticeable difference

The media could not be loaded. This bypass value works great but I have brought two of these the first one I fitted to my above ground pool and then found there was a small leak from it so I brought a second one and found that there was a small chip on the side of it its not the quality of the item it's the way it is treated by the couriers in transit if the item was wrapped in bubble wrap I think it would be OK in transit
