It's a beautiful vest, however the size is too big. I ordered a medium size vest but it fits like an XL.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this vest because I was looking for some way to display my enamel pins and patches I've collected. I have gotten a ton of compliments from numerous people over this vest. The studs are heavy duty and they're not coming off. It fits amazingly. Maybe small for a man's medium. Normally men's medium shirts swallow me. But, I can't button this vest. It doesn't bother me. But, if you want to close it, order a size up. I will say that it did have a strong chemical smell when it arrived. I threw it inside out and folded up into a mesh laundry bag and ran it on a gentle cycle. Problem was solved and it even made the fit better afterwards. I highly recommend this vest. If my collection of pins and patches grow, I will definitely order another one.

Amazon suggested medium for me. My chest is 42 inches and waist 33. It was tight at chest with T-shirt on, and I could not button bottom if I wanted to. I wore it open to Joan Jett concert and it worked great with CBGB shirt. I would buy one size up and get some buttons to bring it up a notch or add a patch here or there!

This item was very small for a 3X. It was about three inches from being buttonable. I made it work.

True to size and fits well. Very good quality denim material has not faded at all with washing and looks great
