Q: Will this handle work with generic extension poles that have threads like a paint roller pole?

Well, yes and no. The squeegee did but the scrubber did not. I drilled and bolted the scrubber to my pole and that works, but you are better off with two poles anyway. I have two poles. A good one and a cheap wooden one. They are good quality scrubber and squeegee so it is worth some trouble to get a working set up.

Q: will this screw on to a standard brrron handle or paint pole?

This may have been true for years ago, but I can assure you the one I got two weeks ago cannot be screwed in to a normal extension handle. I am in search of this proprietary extension

Q: Is this two pieces, or one piece, where you have to put the microfiber sleeve over the squeegee?

There are two (2) hand tools, the squeegee and a microfiber swab. The latter is used to swipe the soap solution onto the glass surface and the squeegee to draw down the solution. It helps to have a clean towel to dab up any water.

Q: Does this work with the Ettore Pole?

I do not have an Ettore Pole but if the Siga window cleaning combo works with my extension pole that is threaded
