Q: Is this thread rot proof. I want it for swimwear

I have used this for all sorts of garments. And it has stood the time of years of going through the laundry. But I have never used it for making swimwear it’s the chlorine in the water that’s the issue, a bit like elastic, that’s why they use specifically designed elastic. Might be the same for the thread. Although I suppose a 100% good quality Polyester thread would be a good place to start.

I have purchased this and used it on any garment I overlocked, and every one of those garments goes into the washing machine and up to date they have all been absolutely fine. All I can say really is, so far mine has been fine.
