I don't believe I have a particularly high pain tolerance, but I decided to try this mask despite the other reviews, since I really needed something effective.Mask takes a while to dry, so be careful not to apply too thickly. When removing, it made my eyes water when peeling around the upper lip area, and directly under my nose.Decent quality charcoal peel off masks like this work by removing as much as possible that they can adhere to in your pores, even peach fuzz and fine hairs. It did a great job removing dry/dead skin, clogged pores, and of course, a lot of hair. If you have a lot of peach fuzz I can see this being more uncomfortable, but since I remove mine semi regularly anyway, I didn't find any issue. Some more established blackheads escaped, but I will have to get them removed some other way. Whiteheads and anything under the skin seem to he unaffected, but maybe that's what the tea tree serum will help with. Think I might need to wait and see on that, because right now it seems almost unnecessary.I'd say this is comparable in quality with other charcoal masks. Probably not the supermarket quality ones, which I don't find effective. The applicator is a nice touch.

This is a good product, dries relatively quickly depending on how thick you apply it. Leaves skin with a smooth finish, does help clear most blackheads, however not the more stubborn ones. I would say if you cant handle a little bit of pain this product isn't for you as it can get painful when peeling off. Overall satisfied with this product

Having been interviewed for a TV news item recently, the camera zoomed in on my nose, stayed there and gradually zoomed out! I was mortified at the large pores blackheads I saw on my nose on my 5ft TV! I knew I had a problem, but this was bad! I searched for a blackhead remover that had the best reviews and I found this. It is very good. I followed good advice from others and didn't put it on too thickly. It felt comfortable when I had it on and it pulled all my blackheads out when I peeled it off. It did hurt me a little bit, but I'm a real big baby. No pain, no gain right? After I got the mask off, cleansed again, and used the soothing tea tree oil, my skin felt lovely and soft, and clean and free from all the impurities that was obviously my pores. I love this product. I'm going to use it once a week now, and hopefully my pores will start to shrink a little bit because they won't have as much crap in them making them bigger...

The instructions on the pack say to use a thin layer but that doesn't work, you need to smear it thick to actually work. Also the oil included doesn't exactly help shrink the pours.

Highly recommended...I was a bit sceptical at first, but I thought I gave it a go.....so glad I did.....skin velvet soft, a bit difficult to peel off but all in all, a fairly descent product...!

I wouldn’t be surprised if they used this stuff to torture people somewhere in the world!!Putting it on was ok.. taking off was horrible!It literally sticks to your skin like tar!Don’t waste your money guys.
