I really like then, bad thing is hard to put on and once you put it on you can’t take it off so you have to make sure it’s place in the right spot otherwise you take it off and it gets damage .

I bought these to use as a quick, simple, and clean way to do a project that required fastening nylon strapping to itself around a wire frame, for a good number of straps. The way these were advertised I thought the screws would be sharp enough and long enough to pierce both layers of nylon, and then tighten down easily by screwing onto the button fronts, which would snap into place.The screws were sharp and long enough (it wouldn't have been any trouble to pierce the nylon with another tool if necessary) but I COULD NOT get the screw end into the opening on the backside of the button--not by screwing it, pushing it, or hammering it (which would not have been possible for my project anyway given the space restrictions I was working with). But I tried anyway, just to see if I could. There are about 4 different sizes/colors of button fronts, but all the screw backs are the same so they should be interchangeable in that sense. Even so, I tried hammering with several different pieces to make sure it wasn't just one or two that didn't fit.I do have one (one) pair of jeans that lost a button; I will take them by my local alteration shop and see if the lady there can show me how to use these buttons (if I was using them incorrectly), or if they are useless, in which case I will toss them. I wish there were a way to use them for something else, but if I keep them, I'll keep trying to use them as buttons--which thus far has not been successful.These would have been amazing and a really cool detail on my project had they worked. Instead, I ended up using zip ties to get the job done. Not as pretty, but quick, easy, inexpensive, AND IT WORKED.Sometimes items like these are a real bargain, sometimes they are duds. These were a dud, as far as my expectations and experience with them went.If I find out otherwise, I'll come back to report. But I'm pretty handy, so I doubt it's user error in this case.
