Good meter for price.
so far these are working well, look good and appears to be accurate.. Hope they last.

Easy to install with a very nice, bright, sharp LED display
Easy to install, worked perfectly out of the box, great looking LED display, bright and sharp, very easy to read from a distance. Very pleased, recommended!

Great display! Good value for the price. I'd definitely buy again.
I got this DC volt/amp meter to replace a broken analog ammeter in an old automotive battery charger. Installation was a bit tricky because I needed to enlarge the opening in the front panel. The meter was a bit loose, due to my lack of metalworking skill, but a little hot glue made it completely secure. I mounted the shunt to the inside bottom of the charger case. It was easy re-route the charger negative lead through the shunt, and add three small-gauge wires to the new meter. The meter needs a supply of steady DC to operate correctly. Unfortunately, my battery charger (like many) does not have a filter capacitor, so when I'm charging a really weak battery, the meter display flickers slightly. (This can be corrected but it requires installing a small diode and filter capacitor for the meter.) However, in most applications, this won't be an issue.Note the current reading is just two digits, no decimal point. Readings will be to the closest amp. Therefore the error is 1/50 of the full scale value (50 amps), in other words 2% accuracy. That's not a malfunction, it just happens to be the way the specs are defined. When charging a car battery, the current will probably be in the neighborhood of 5 to 10 amps, so an error of 1 amp is not critical to me. It's more accurate than the old analog meter was.All in all I'm very happy with the results. The display is big and very bright, easily visible in daylight (for example charging the car battery in the driveway). If I had another project like this, I would certainly buy this same meter again. It's perfect for this job and a great bargain at the price!

Great Meter. Very bright, and easy to read.
This is a great meter. It is bright, and easy to read. The only con is it only shows amps in one direction. Other DCA meters I have show a + number for charging the connected battery, and a - number for discharge. When connected, this device will show battery discharge accurately, but to get a charge reading you have to swap the sensor wires across the shunt. It is really a great device. I recommend it. It is also a great value for a big super easy to read display. Easily read from across the room, unlike most others.

Compact, Easy Hookup
You can't beat the value of this meter. Comes with the shunt, Simple three wire hookup. I bench tested it, and it works great and is accurate. I will be building this into a test box for checking trailer wiring. I've used these products before and found them reliable.

Great meter!
The media could not be loaded. First off, kudos to the person who included the wiring diagram in their review. I was able to make sense of the one on the page, but that is a great simplified, concise version that was helpful and easier to view when wiring it up.I specifically purchased the 4.5-100VDC /0-50A meter. I do a lot of tinkering in general with circuitboards and DC voltage, but for some devices I would need to or may exceed the 10amp fuse on the meters I have that can measure DC amperage (and also, the ones that I do have some weird 10A fuse you can't just run out and get somewhere, go figure, lol)One such project was replacing the dead Ni-MH battery in an old cordless vacuum with something more modern and readily available. I found a power tool battery that would supply 24VDC and that was also capable of providing the needed amperage, which I'm running through a DC Buck converter with adjustable voltage and amperage. This meter allowed me to correctly measure the voltage and adjust the amperage amp by amp to insure I was only reaching the amperage the vacuum needed to run without going over. I look forward to wiring up a little 3d printed enclosure to install this into so I can use it more like a regular meter with my tinkering. Highly recommend.

Everything
Works great no issues.

Defective meter . Erroneous amp measurment
No good. Didn't work correctly from rightout of the box , first time connected . CT wires to screw terms. Red and black to power source. Ammeter reading was faulty reading only a small fraction of the correct amperage as verified by a simultaneously measurment with a good and accurate digital clamp on meter. It was 2.71 amps on the good meter while reading only .05 amps on the same line load lead to this meter.
