This item has gone faulty with in the manufacturer warranty.Fireangel has a 5 years warranty and 10 years battery life.Can I get it replaced.

Have just installed this as last one wasn’t working properly. Has a 10 year battery life and only time will tell if that’s true.

Another essential, local fire brigade recommended brand, blue light is great for helping to orientate yourself in dark smoke. Wouldn't be without them, great value and quality, last a long time and the alarm will definitely wake you. Very easy to install and delivery very fast.

Very easy to mount on the ceiling. I was able to use the previous smoke alarms screw holes thanks to the options available on the base plate. The main unit just twists on or off the base plate, the battery is only connected when its twisted onto the base plate. Good quality device, seems to work well when i tested it. small red flshing light to tell you its operational still.

I bought these after I discovered that the old ones in my new home were due to be replaced next year and the batteries were dead. The old ones were FireAngel too so I hoped i would just be able to fit them to the existing ceiling brackets (anything to make life a little easier). These fitted perfectly. There are no batteries to replace (as it has a 10 lithium battery) so all I have to do is minor maintenance. Be aware that the unit is only activate when secured in its bracket.I thought that they were decently priced for 2 (although there are cheaper ones out there).

I have had this for over a year now.The old one would go off when the battery dropped or the oven door was open.This one seems to eliminate the false triggers. I think maybe once in over a year.It does have a built in battery so eventually it will have to be replaced which seems a waste of plastic.I would recommend this if you have an old one that goes off all the time.

All seemed ok until 6 months old when the battery died on one unit. Tried the test button but to no avail. Paid premium price for these as they’re supposed to have a 10 year battery which cannot be changed. Now I don’t only have to buy a new battery but also a new smoke detector. Glad we checked them as we obviously rely on them to protect us. I bought 4 when we moved in to our new house….hope the other 3 don’t also die after just 6 months.
