I am Type O Positive blood type and, even through I eat about 75% of my organic diet in fresh fruits and vegetables, I tend to run acidic. That conflicts with the fact that I absolutely LOVE a delicious, aromatic cafe latte. Coffee can really mess with me to the point that when I drink it regularly, I can write clearly on my skin with the side of a gold ring. THAT's acidic!I researched coffee and learned that espresso is about 40% less acidic than regular coffee. I bought a Nespresso Pixie, which I love but the Nespresso espressos were waaaay too acidic for me. They gave me canker sores in my mouth. Dang. I bought an alkaline water filter so I could use 9.5 alkaline water, which reduced the acidity further but it still wasn't enough.Finally, I started researching decaffeinated espresso in Nespresso-type pods. I wanted organic so I didn't get the onslaught of pesticides but couldn't find any good ones. I thought: Italy! In pods!! Shouldn't be too suffused in pesticides AND I love Italian espresso. Bingo.FINALLY, I found the right configuration: Meseta Decaffeinated Capsule Compatible with Nespresso Pixie made with 9.5 alkaline water. It works! I can't write on my skin with the side of my ring. I don't get canker sores in my mouth due to too much acidity. And, best of all, the aroma and taste are exquisite.The only downside is that the pods don't work well in my Nespresso Pixie. I try a pod, remove it from the Pixie after it gives me what it's going to give me, pierce it in the front with a sharp knife, put it back into my Pixie, and re-run it. That works!!!So happy!!!!!!!!!

tastes like the burnt bottom of an old coffee pot, coming from Italy I expected a clean dark brew. After using one pkg the rest hits the trash. save your dollars for another brand.

I use this in a Nespresso machine. I like the Nespresso brand coffee better but for the money, this works well. The taste is good and it works well in my Nespresso machine.

This decaf coffee is delicious. Works perfectly with my Nespresso. Customer service is outstanding. This is my second order and it won't be my last.

I am not an espresso expert but as far as decaf goes it has a nice taste, not bitter or burnt, and does produce a nice crema. I've had the Nespresso Essenza machine for a while and I have recently experimented with compatible capsules. And truthfully, the Nespresso capsules are always superior - just costly. The major issue my machine runs into is the rate of flow from the machine - and some compatible capsules are better than others. So far these capsules have the slowest flow rate of all the capsules I've tried - even pausing at times. I've checked the back of the capsule and they are punctured in three places while the grid punctures on the foil are just slightly less than those on a true Nespresso capsule. I've tried tapping the capsule before insertion but the flow is still very slow. I bought the 100 pack so I'll keep experimenting - but not sure I would buy again.

This product tastes weak compared to others I have had. The capsules don't work well in my machines. Stay away from these.

Best decaf so far. Perfect replacement for the expensive nespresso pods. I have a half caf double shot every morning with this and it delivers every time.
