Great quality and taste for little ones. It can be hard to get kids to want to brush their teeth but this product makes my son want to brush his teeth. I have this product on subscribe and save and love it!!

Great value for the price, easy to use, 14 month old hasn't rejected it yet. I tried a bit, it tastes very mild which is great because my little one is super sensitive to tastes and textures (won't even eat apple!). Does a fair job removing plaque from her tiny teeth, though there isn't much tooth yet. The gel is clear with no added colors, which means no added chemicals to make it "look appealing". Babies and toddlers really don't care that much. It's fluoride free, as all baby and toddler preparations should be.The best part is that it has been INDEPENDENTLY lab tested by 3 different non profit consumer groups, and has the lowest levels of lead and other heavy metals available from a major brand. THIS PART MATTERS, people. I know from life experience what high lead levels in blood can do to a child, and it is really important to check.Products that contain added flouride and whitening ingredients also typically contain trace amounts of lead. A small amount of lead is hard to avoid in the rocks used to make tooth cleaning products, but some contain a lot more than others, and more than is allowed in food. The difference is toothpaste quality is not policed by any overseeing agency, so you need to do the research. This gel has repeatedly tested low or zero for anything harmful, which is amazing, especially considering the price!!! Bonus that it also contains less plastic derived ingredients than even 'natural' brand had, less plastic than drbrowns had, less lead than toms.Double score if your child doesn't have a reaction to it, a negative response to the taste, or they like the characters on the tube I guess (I don't know what a Coco melon is, but Elmo is classic!)

Regular adult toothpaste is too “spicy” for little ones, but this training toothpaste is delicious and tastes like watermelon!We purchased this for our niece who has issues with brushing her teeth. When her parents complained of it, we correctly identified that it was the toothpaste they’d been using with her (a yucky flavor that made her despise the process). This affordable 2-pack saved her little smile, and now she looks forward to brushing twice a day! That’s a win for me. Best aunt ever award? I’ll take it.The little Cocomelon character on the bottle is also pretty exciting. After she brushed her teeth, she was so excited to tell me all about her new Cocomelon toothpaste! I loved that.Highly recommend for your little ones!

Okay so I’m an adult that sometimes uses this toothpaste because I found it on “Lead Safe Mama.” Giving it 5 stars because it has a great taste and is free of heavy metals. It’s not really “abrasive” though, so I’m not sure how well it cleans, but I use this as my secondary toothpaste. I brush 4 times a day and use this for my “wake up” cleaning and midday cleaning.
