Works fantastic at CCS locations. Does not get hot at all and seems to hold a good amount of current easily.

The other buyers were right, this product does not work at all. Charge point says waiting for EVAnd Tesla shows charging error. 2018 Tesla model 3.Edit:OK, here's the deal folks, you MUST check to ensure your tesla is compatible with CCS but opening the Control>Software>Additional Vehicle Information screen (Shown in screenshot). I'm guessing everyone (me included) that could not use this do NOT have compatible software.This is a WELL BUILT looking item, but it would not work for me since my Tesla is a 2018. Tesla is supposedly offering upgrade kits in March 2023. I've changed the review to 5 stars, but since I can't use it, I'm going to returning this item.

If you own a Tesla, you need to get one of these. There are times where Tesla chargers are too expensive and it makes more sense to go to a non Tesla charger

Bought this to have and the two times I’ve tried to use it over the course of a few different months, I’ve received errors and it doesn’t work. This is at two different EVGO chargers. Account is set up, etc., other charger adapters I have work, it’s just this one. Very frustrated to have paid that much for it not to work annnnd be outside of my return window because I didn’t have occasion to use it until after the return window closed.

Purchased this to take advantage of some free DCFC locations. Has been working as intended after a few dozen charges. The highest charging speed I have gotten so far is 202kW. Kind of sketchy as there is no telling the quality or endurance of the connections within the adapter but if it blows up or catches fire I'll be sure to update this review.

Honestly I have never used it. I hope to never have to use it but I’m glad I have it.

Just got this today and tested it. No issues, snapped on to charger, charged car about the rate I expected it - under 50Kw since it already had pretty high charge and battery was cold. Feels really solid. Tesla isn’t offering me their adapter on the app, so I bought this for my 2023 Model Y. I don’t know why Tesla won’t sell me their adapter. The setup info shows Charging Adapter enabled and this Lectron adapter worked fine at Electrify America charger.
