Q: are these ridged once lamanated or flexable?

Once a document is laminated using this pouch it will still offer some flexibility, could for example be folded but there will be some resistance due to the micron of the plastic pouch. However the item will be full water resistant when sealed.

Q: It looks like there has been a bad batch of these. Anyone bought any recently (past month) and are they looking okay now?

Recently purchased and have had no problem. Best thing to do is to check the tenpreature of the laminator as this will cause a problem if no hot enough.

Q: May be a stupid question but can I use these pouches with a machine that can take up to 125 microns (as these pouches are 160 microns in total?)

The micron measurement on the laminator e.g. 75, 100, 125 refers to ONE thickness ONLY of the laminating pouch so if you have two x 80 micron sheets, you can use the 75 micron heating and speed setting. That's what I do with my GBC laminator and it works fine. The 125 micron setting would be for the VERY thick laminating pouches of 2 x 125 microns or 250 microns TOTAL thickmess. The 2 x 80 microns pouch is just an odd measurement that's all.
