I've been using a Sony wireless mic product, and I have had plenty of good experiences with it, but I couldn't mount it to the top of my camera, so it would just hang there. I bought this largely because I could mount it to the top of my camera. On day one, I had some difficulties getting my camera to pick up audio, and I thought maybe it was the cord. I don't know what I did, but after a few test shots, it just started working. Maybe I didn't plug it in all the way? I don't know. That was my only "struggle." The thing works just as you would want it to work. You can choose between 4 channels, each of which I tested and found nothing competing with it. It has a real world, line of sight, range of 140. My subjects are normally 6 feet away... so I think I'm good there. I showed a friend of mine, and he immediately bought one for himself. So, I guess you could say I would recommend it to a friend? I have an event coming up, and I will be recording using a few cameras. I believe I will be buying one more of these before the event. So, I guess that would sum up my review. I like it. I like the price. The audio is clear. I'm giving a 90 minute presentation in the morning, and I'll be using this mic. My colleague will be using the Sony. ;-) Great buy. Enjoy!

I totally expected these to sound okay and have terrible range, but they're so crisp and the range is easy 20 to 25ft. Super stoked on these

Product is very flimsy and is a cheap plastic. it is very hard to connect. Most cameras has a very low range. and not very portable as you have to have many wires to set it up not good

For the price you can’t beat it! Range is good, sound is very crisp...almost to crisp, had to EQ in post. The only issue I have is the volume dial on the receiver, I had to turn it all the way down to keep it from clipping and distorting. Zero volume is still a little hot, which is the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5.

Package arrived exactly when promised. Box works as a good storage location after finished using. The sound quality is surprisingly good. Receiver only picks up lapel mic on FREQ B, none the others work. The camera mounting dock clip looks strong enough for stationary indoor use only. Be very careful when putting on and removing the antennas, they will become lose in the housing after a few uses. I strongly recommend getting rechargeable AA batteries. you will go through them fast. The casing quality is not as good as expected, for the price. Reminds me of a cheap build it yourself model Radio Shack kit.

You can’t expect anything crazy spending around 20$ for a wireless mic, but for the price it does what it needs to do, overall not bad.

Got this for my upcoming YouTube channel, this microphone set is easy to install and the sound quality is very good. Wireless range is far as well.

So I am not going to speak to range of the microphone. What is infinitely more important to me is privacy settings and you don't get very much of any background noise which is awesome. Don't let the price fool you this is a good quality unit.
