Let me preface by saying I am a fulltime working mom of 2 busy kids and 2 dogs. I am a subpar house keeper, at best. This product works very well! I used it on a floor that hadnt been swept or mopped in over a week (between being on vacation and working). I was impressed with how well and easily this product cleaned my floor. There were a couple places where something had spilled that required a couple passes but there was zero umph on my part to get it done - no scrubbing, no spraying extra cleaner, nothing. Just this self propelling cleaning machine over and it voila.The area I cleaned is about 1000ish square feet and I had to empty and self clean once in between. Speaking of self clean, I was really impressed with how well this function works. I ran it once, dumped and cleaned the tank, and then ran again - just to see how well it worked. The water that came out in the second cleaning was almost clear - meaning the first clean worked extremely well!

What started off as a promising product turned into an absolute nightmare. I purchased this mop in February and only had it in my possession for about a month before the problems started. Initially, it worked great, but after just two weeks, the sensor for the dirty water malfunctioned. It constantly read dirty water and refused to mop.This was just the beginning of my ordeal. I contacted Dreame's customer service, and they sent me a replacement part. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. While mistakes happen, the incompetence didn’t end there. They sent another part, but once again, it was the wrong one. This cycle repeated itself, and not until the fourth attempt did they finally send the correct part. Despite confirming the right part in their emails and having my order number and model information, they repeatedly failed to get it right. The confusion was baffling and incredibly frustrating.By the time I received the correct part and had the machine working again, it was already April. Just when I thought my troubles were over, the charger stopped working in May. I contacted customer service again, and they instructed me to ship the vacuum out for repair. I did so immediately. Now, as I write this review at the end of June, I am still without my mop. They initially told me the repair would take two weeks, but it has been nearly two months with no resolution in sight.Their customer service is beyond horrible. Their incompetent, unresponsive, and dismissive. When the mop worked, it was amazing, but the constant malfunctions and dreadful customer service overshadow any positive aspects of the product. I had seen other reviews warning about their poor customer service, but I chose to ignore them. Don’t make the same mistake I did.I am now out a significant amount of money and am in the middle of a frustrating process to get a refund. If you are considering a smart mop, steer clear of the Dreame H12. It’s not worth the headache and hassle. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. This product and the company behind it are simply not reliable.

After doing a quick google search I ended up purchasing this unit (H12). The only comparison I have is the Bissell cross-wave (so keep that in mind while reading my review).I thought the unit was very heavy but solid quality. I went through 3 Bissell machines in 2 years because they kept falling over and eventually breaking.The initial battery life did NOT last my entire home and the battery took a good while 😫 to recharge enough to finish my formal dining room (I say this as a person coming from a corded unit)The unit did remove a good amount of dirt/debris from my floors but I also noticed it did NOT touch the grout lines (we have the square tiles with larger grout lines 😩)When initially starting the unit I wasn’t sure if it was cleaning, I had to lean over to check for a glare on the ground 🙃 so it definitely removes any excess waterI had to clean/refill the canister 4 times which seemed excessive as wellOver all I’m happy with the unit and found it did a better job than me wishing I would mop 😅

The vacuum/mop is incredibly easy to use. The solution is pricy however I didn’t find about the solution in the handbook until I found the solution in the box. I regularly mop my floors and thought I was getting themClean. This appliance leaves my floors very clean and the dirty water that comes out is disgusting. I dump the dirty water outside yet clean any gulk with a napkin.I don’t want to clog a toilet with what this machine picks up.I also love that I don’t have to do much to clean my appliance one I finish using it. I empty the dirty water tank , clean up gulk and wash out the dirt water tank after. I also wash out the filter. I leave a small amount of clean water so I can turn on the self cleaning mode. So far I love it. I have had it about three weeks.

UPDATE 04/23/24: after going back and forth, they accepted to repair the damaged one, but after repairing it, got lost with fedex and they tried to send a new one that also got lost. After some weeks I got one at home and I can use it now. will not give 5 stars cause the process of getting a solution which was a working vacuum cleaner was long. Still customer service did their best and it is appreciated.UPDATE 03/13/24: contacted customer service and sent the machine more than a week ago, last Saturday they provided a tracking number that after 3 business days doesn't work, Customer service mentioned today that the item WILL be shipped, that means they sent me a tracking number just to keep me quiet, lets see where this goes...the machine does the job, unfortunately the system is difficult to clean so you will smell something rotting, even if you try to clean it well.after 7 months the battery died and now I have to send it for repair and wait for the time it takes them to see the problem and repair it, and that if they don't blame me for incorrectly handling it.let's see, pretty disappointing after paying 339 dlls
