I have always used a screened insert in the drain of my rinsing sink. While the screen catches all of the yucky stuff that is rinsed off of my dishes, I used to despise having to tap the debris out in the trash pail, and inevitably having to rinse off the little particles that remained in the screen. These mesh bags are the answer to not only catching all of the debris and preventing drain clogs, but they are also the PERFECT SOLULTION to no longer having to bang the screen out in the trash. You simply remove the mesh bag and toss it in the pail. Ingenious!! They are easy to put on and take off, and they catch everything! I love them and can't imagine not using them. I would highly recommend these to anyone that does not have a garbage disposal - they're AWESOME!!!

I want to never live without these. I purposely didn't bother installing a garbage disposal in my apartment and I was regretting the decision when my fiance (now husband) moved in, but no more. These are amazing. Just put it on loosely and once it's full, easy to pull it off without dropping any little bits of food caught inside, and toss it in the trash. Easy. So easy. I never knew I needed these but now I cannot live without them.

This are great! We just moved into a house that has a septic tank, we were told not to sent any food down the drain/disposal. I was trying to find a strainer with small enough holes that it would catch ANYTHING and came across these wonders. They definitely do the job and catch everything, even coffee grounds. They arrived quickly too.

Love this! I just pull out the cloth mesh strainer to throw away all that ickyness and the metal strainer still stays clean. Unlike before without the cloth mesh, the metal strainer would be so yucky collecting all the food scrap.

These handy mesh covers catch all debris and help prevent the kitchen drain from getting clogged. The mesh is very fine and catches even gunk and grease. Stretchy and easy to put on and take off.
