I use Arm and Hammer deodorizers in the linen closet, clothes closet, pantry, bath. I love the fresh clean smell. I also use regularly on my carpet (I have a dog) and again it helps freshen the room.

I am very familiar with the ARM AND HAMMER product line. We routinely use their laundry detergent, body spray powder, refrigerator deodorizers, and of course the old standard, loose baking soda. When I first spied these closet deodorizers on AMAZON, my kitchen pantry came to mind - and NOT in a good way. Lately, every time I opened the pantry door, I would become overwhelmed with the sickening scent of dry dog kibble (despite it being contained inside of a securely lidded bin). Hhmmm, maybe it's time to hand over the reins to ARM AND HAMMER once again.I spied these ARM AND HAMMER ODOR BUSTERZ CLOSET MATE 4-pack CLEAN BURST SCENT devices. As a general rule, I adore clean linen scented products, so I figured what do I have to lose (other than a few bucks). Since I really had no place in which to ideally hang the convenient "coat hook" designed mildly scented device, I decided to simply hang it from the shelf adjacent to the offensive dog food bin. It was merely inches away yet out of everyday family "traffic". I noticed the fresh aroma almost immediately. Yes, it was subtle, FRESH, and CLEAN... delightful! Only TIME will tell how effective and long lasting the device will be. So far, it's been just over three weeks and there's nary a trace of nasty kibble smell - and to his credit, my hubby has only knocked the deodorizer off of the shelf ONCE. Good news is that I simply reapplied the hanging hook which had popped off and then repositioned the hook onto the shelf. Even BETTER news - I'm still enjoying the nice clean scent -PLUS- I have 3 more little hanging deodorizers in the wait!

I was looking for something that would smell good but also eliminate the shoe “funk” in my closet. Within a day of hanging one of these in my closet with the door closed, the odor was 80% gone. I could hardly smell anything by the next day. In terms of the fragrance, I wish it could be stronger so it would “transfer” to my clothes but maybe it’s my nose that can’t really smell it. Either way, I’m happy this worked as advertised, I’ll definitely buy more in the future when I run out. I’ve used two so far and it’s been about three months without any odor.
