Great device that does exactly what it says.
I like the included height extender which allowed me to fit a large phone in a case. Once the phone is in, it feels very natural, like using a small Steamdeck. The build quality is solid and professional. It doesn’t feel cheap (which, of course, it isn’t). I enjoy using it.

Easy to use and setup.
Bought this for a plane trip and tried it out before departing. It works well but I had to remove the detachable sizers to make it work with my iphone 16 pro max and case. The device is powered by your iphone. I was playing Oceanhorn 2 with it and it made the game much easier to control.

Unable to play Playstation games that use motion controls
I purchased this "Playstation" edition thinking it would be good for my son to play the Playstation games with remote play. When he tried to play a game that uses the motion controls, nothing happens and no setting or alternative controls are provided. When I reached out to backbone, they didn't even respond to my email. Ended up buying an iphone mount for a PS4 and PS5 controller for a tenth of the cost and it works perfectly.

BE SURE YOU READ INFORMATION: We purchased an older version first that didn't fit the new Iphones that have a "c" plug.

Correct lightning version as described on the photos advertised!
After using my USB-C version of backbone one for my Galaxy S23 Ultra (or even my iPhone 15 Pro Max if I had), I decided to bought my Lightning version of backbone one because I had lightning iPhone at time of purchase after saw photos showed that look like lightning version. I finally got Lightning version of backbone one to use for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and my some spare iPhones such as iPhone 12 Pro Max!
