I was able to look past the fact that the plug didn't fit my 5th generation ipad because the silver sleeve/neck was not properly installed all the way before it was glued down. This resulted in limited clearance created by the metal "foreskin". I just happened to have a penny cutter lying around so I was able to "circumcise" the plug so i could fit securely into the ipad. This was a minor annoyance. My main concern is the performance. The audio randomly cuts off. When its not doing that, the audio is often delayed. And the video itself is constantly lagging, freezing up, or playing in slow-mo. The FPS is extremely choppy too. I'm not sure how this can be advertised as a way to game on a projector. The amount of lag that is caused by this device would make that experience almost impossible. I'm going to try and check for updates on Apple's end but I recently updated after they had that random indian character glitch. So my software is at least up to date for 2018. Unless I am missing something, this cord is junk and definitely not worth 20 bucks.. I'd price this around $5.

Junk!I followed the instructions ( which are very, very small font) connected my iPhone 8 Plus, connected it to the TV and plugged it in.Select Trust on my phone and started playing a movie via MoviesAnywhere and..... sound, only sound. no Picture,I tried again, got a picture this time and sound for about 5 second, then it froze.Might return it when I get back from vacation....very disappointed.

This product has a lot of problem which since I used it after a few minutes it was disconnected, sometimes it showed errors in the image and several things...

Doesnt work. Really wish I would have spent a little more and ordered from someone else. Listen to the reviews! Product does not work. I was very excited to get this and I am so disappointed. Very frustrated that this seller is allowed to continue to sell a product that doesn’t work.

Bought this one to connect an IPAD to the tv. It works but if you want to see streamed comcast tv app, it will not do that from the IPAD.

Did not work at all. Tried on three different systems... I had heard these dongles were hit and miss and this one is a miss.

this only worked on my iPhone 5se one time them it would not work again, I tried it on another 5se and it worked fine. I tried a total of six different IPhones and it worked on them. So its hard to say for me if I like it or not, its a chance.

Just plug in to the TV and ipad. The ipad screen will be automatic stream to the TV. Easy to make the screen bigger and make life easier.
