Works great
I had a cheap knock-off that constantly dropped my connection. Just buy the real thing. This cable is flawless.

Working well so far
After reading some of the other reviews I was a little concerned about this cable, but I couldn't find any real alternative. It is a substantial cable - far thicker than any other USB cable I've ever used. It is fairly flexible, though. I can't speak to long-term durability, but my use will be light duty.I haven't used this on a project yet, but I have one coming up soon. While testing, it was able to transfer raw images from an EOS R to my computer very quickly. Far more quickly than my previous camera that only supported USB 2.0. The camera also indicated that it was charging while connected. The cable recommends not doing so, but I'm not sure there is a way to stop it.I would definitely recommend using some kind of strain relieve that attaches to the camera. The USB-C connector is pretty small, and the cable would have a lot of leverage. The JerkStopper would work fine, but one of the reviews there mentioned using some general purpose quick release straps, which is what I'm using. That will make it easier to swap out things like a strap or safety tether.

Worked flawlessly for live teathered shooting with Sony a7iii and MacBook pro.
I was doing a photoshoot for work and needed to shoot live/teathered for instant review on a large monitor for the team to see as I shot.I was using a Sony a7iii and a current MacBook pro. I tried a few different programs for the live view but found Sonys software to be the smoothest workflow for our needs. This cable worked perfectly, fast transfers and zero hiccups. I couldn't be happier. Sometimes it's worth the extra dollars to ensure everything just works. In this case that's the truth.

Very Pleased!!
I’m just getting into tethering with my photography. I heard that Tether Pro was one of the best brands for tethering cables so I purchased this one. I was certainly not disappointed. The connection is quick and easy, and the chord is very durable. I love it!!!

Sturdy high quality cable
I use this to tether my ipad (being used as a teleprompter from mac as mirrored display while providing power) and also tether my Canon RP camera to my mac for video filming. Great cables. Beware of cheaper long USBC cables as some of them are not reliable. For tethering your Canon camera, I do recommend using some sort of "camera cable clamp" to keep these cables from putting pressure on camera usbc port connection as they are impressively thick and sturdy. Definitely recommend and worth the money.

Industry Standard for a Good Reason
Tether Tools is the industry standard for photographers who are looking to shoot "tethered" (or directly connected) to their PC and professionals rely on Tether Tools for a good reason. The cable is nice and long; the high-visibility orange coloring (although you can get black if you want) really does help prevent accidents in the studio; and the cable itself is very robust while keeping your data rate high.Theoretically speaking a USB cable is a USB cable, but when you are working in a professional environment, you want something robust, reliable, and a product that gives you as many "quality-of-life" improvements as you can because it's really the little things that add up in aggregate. If you're looking to shoot tethered, buy Tether Tools and don't look back. They also happen to make a whole bunch of other accessories to make life even easier. I was skeptical at first, but after using their products for a few months, I've really come around to believe that they are currently providing the best solutions for this particular niche.

works as intended - fast transfer - steady connection
connected to C;aptureONe - MacBook pro2019 using a CANON R6 - no issues with connection and only disconnects when I change batteries - I just turn off the camera, close and reopen capture one -then turn on the camera and it connects. Shooting dancers so image review after each shot is important. Haven't lost one shot while connected and photos are seen very quickly on the screen.
