Quilt Basting Spray, 10 ounce can

Excellent

This was expensive at over £17 and left some residue on the needle. It was also quite a wide can so was difficult to grip. I wouldn’t buy this again.

I originally bought 2 cans at Walmary. The label colors were different, but the labels said the same thing. The white label was a perfect amount of adhesive, no odor at all, easy to work with, and didn't gum up the needle. I did a 60"x72" lap quilt with 3/4 can. I used the blue label can next. It was like a completely different product. The adhesive was way too sticky, the smell was strong, and it was very hard to work with compared to the first can. It didn't gum up the needle though. I only order the white label cans now. I have quilted for years, always pinning the quilt sandwich. After using this on a couple of quilts, I don't see myself pinning again. You wash the quilt when it's done, then iron it. It looks and feels great.

The price of this product has more than doubled in the last 4 yrs as I had the price sticker on my previous can that I did not purchase from Amazon.

The product was just what I needed. I thought it was a little costly though.
