I live in an area with a lot of ticks if you need to go into the wooded part. I just had a tick that I had to remove after it started to dig in. I mentioned it to my son in law and he showed me this product and uses it anytime he needs,to remove a tick. The design is good for grabbing the tick to remove it.

I live on Long Island where we have tons of deer ticks and of course Lyme disease everywhere. Grateful that this little tool makes them easy and painless to remove.

Excellent item! I've used it successfully three times last summer, and once already this Spring. The design is very good....it works! The tick ID card is very helpful too. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

I was trying to buy the Tick Tornado but somehow ended up with these. They are basically like a tiny, plastic claw hammer. You get the claw under the tick's body and pry upward to get it to release. Used once on the dog and once on myself. The Tornado worked better in my opinion but this still works without killing the tick and leaving parts of inside you or your dog. We have them at home and in both of the cars because if you have a dog and you hike, the ticks are inevitable.
