Ever Ready First Aid Fanny Pack/Hip Pack (Fanny Pack With Whistle)

Bought this for my niece who became a lifeguard this year. She is hard and rough on everything and nothing last long with her but so far this has. No rips or tears and the zippers seem pretty sturdy. Should’ve bought two since she gets them so dirty quickly.

We have now bought these several times for our team. They work great and dry quickly.

Got this for my daughter for her first life-guarding job. It seems large enough to hold everything she needs, and it seems nice and durable. The color is off, though. The zippers/nylon strap are red, but the bag itself looks like a faded red, almost a hot pink color. If the strap/zipper were also that color, it wouldn't be as noticeable (you could probably trick your mind into thinking it is red), but the zippers/strap are definitely true red, and the bag isn't. Does it affect the usefulness of the bag? of course not. She will use it, and it will do fine. It's just a weird color.

I've gotten in the water with this pack quite a bit and it's still holding strong. Dries fast and is ready by my next shift.

It is extremely tight so not perfect for me, but that’s only because I’m very tall and 210 pounds. Don’t buy if you’re overweight or it may be too small. Wears out fast, I’ve bought two so far and the first lasted me about two months. Will last longer if you don’t get wet but that’s a hard ask for it’s whole purpose. Also gets more lose after repeated soakings.

I’m not quite sure what happened, but it seems I got a used pack. In the back zipper there was a whistle and a folded paper that I thought was going to be an advertisement or a thanks for purchasing letter. Nope! It was a seven question “study guide” or answer key perhaps for a beach related quiz. With incorrect spellings (Sydny Australia, Hedwing, Fred Wisley) to boot. So that took one star down - neither are mentioned in the description so it seems it wasn’t even checked before shipping back out, and a bad taste award to the former owner for misspelling those words.The other star missing from a 5 star review is from the pack being pretty cheaply made. The buckles and extender piece are a plastic that seems easy to break. The material of the bag itself seems pretty cheap as well. No holes to drain water if you go in with your pack.
