Front Right Passenger Power Running Board Motor For 07-14 Ford F150 Replaces OE# AL3Z16A506A

This motor is a great replacement for the factory motor that failed on my 09 F150 Platinum. It was hard to find directions so here’s what I did.-go in the control center and set the boards to “out”. Force down if they won’t go down.-Unplug the motor-Remove the 8 mounting bolds (13mm) and remove the whole assembly.-clamp the step down on your workbench.This makes it easier to remove the motor and keep the assembly stable-remove the key that aligns with the slot on the motor shaft-remove the 3 motor bolts-slide the motor out-move the board linkage and make sure it moves freely, if not, lubricate.-install the motor and reassemble in reverse orderMy motor worked without having to flash the PRB module.Good luck

The hardest part when installing these is fighting to get the factory ones out, it's a good fight. My suggestion if you only have basic hand tools like I do is a ball pin hammer and 1/2" chisel will help get the other one out. I used a 13mm socket with ratchet, a socket knuckle, a 13mm open end wrench or speed wrench and a 10mm socket. Lube helps out. Once installed they work fairly good.

$90 & under 2 hours of labor saved us $3000 we were quoted by our dealership. They claimed the motor alone could not be replaced but it’s back at full function without issue.

Arrived fast and as advertised. New motor was an exact replacement for my old F150 motor. It is not an easy job to replace but motor/shaft slid right in, and did not notice any change in running board speed. I'll be back when the left side goes out.

Perfect replacement on a 2009 Ford F-150 Platinum running board.

Replaced running board motor passenger side of truck. Took about 2 hrs. Dealership wanted 2200.oo to replace entire assembly(parts only). Not interested in repairing. Works great at 1/10th the cost.
