GREAT FOR THE PRICE!!
For about $40, its a great little unit with a nice display. I was a little reserve on ordering the product as I have read all the bad reviews. I seems to be fairly accurate, not going to say fully accurate but I have only have my phone to compare it to, and its always been within a couple degrees considering the airport to about 7 miles away which does the reporting. As far as the remote sensor, I was even more apprehensive because I wanted to use this in my shop which has steel walls and a cell phone signal even has a hard penetrating the walls. My remote sensor is about 40' away and never had a problem with it communicating with the base. I would assume the sensor is NOT fully water tight as per the instructions say to locate it where rain cannot directly get to it. I just used a zip tie under an eve of the house which seemed to work great. The atomic clock has not once lost its signal or lost time, which I've had other brands do. Some people seem to think that this has a picture on the display of the forecast, which is wrong. Its merely telling you the current barometric pressures. Sunny and flowers is high pressure, clouds and lightning is low pressure, its not a reflection of what the weather is doing outside. The display is bright, colorful, and easy to read... kind of.. I have this unit on a table and can read it fine either sitting or standing, harder to read the display from the side to side angles, or if you are down lower than the unit itself. Must be plugged in to see the display, but does have battery backup so you dont have to redo the setup. The setup itself was really easy as well. Ive had this unit for about 5 months.

AWESOME Weather station
This is what i want it for a long time!!!!Pros:- Very easy to read information during the day or at night- Works plugged in and also with batteries- Accurate readings most of the time- Easy to follow instructions- 2 AA batteries are required for the sensor- Very cool Animated Forecast backgroundCons:- None so farOverall we like this unit at home, we are able to see the outdoor and indoor temperatures at a glance. It helps us predict what we can expect for the day!!! I know we all have smartphones and we can get the weather updates that way buy having it hanging on your wall or just displayed on a table makes it so much easier and at the same time looks great. My 6 year learned to tell us the weather on a daily basis, great way to teach your kidsMy friend thought it was a high end weather station, i mean PRICE wise jajaaja he went ahead and purchased one after checking the price.****Quick note****I applied clear tape all around the wireless sensor that is setup outside my door just to prevent any water getting into the unit, BE CAREFUL NOT to tape the actual sensor opening i left that open for obvious reasons!!!If you liked my review please hit the "Yes" button below to help others, have any questions? you can ask me marquino17@gmail.com

Except for the clock, a nice weather station.
I had a LaCross weather station for many years til it "died." The new one is a good size, easy to set up and has a good stand. But the clock is very small and difficult to see if you're not standing close.

Nice graphics
Purchased this to replace the one we’d had for years. This one was so much better, had certainty advanced since the last one I bought a number of years ago.

Easy to read, bright digital display
This weather station comes with an AC adapter, an outdoor remote sensor, and instruction booklet. Set-up is easy, but may be challenging to some without the instruction booklet. The weather station has a colorful, bright display that’s very easy to read. It shows time and temperature, date, weather forecasts, both indoor and outdoor humidity levels, and more. Alerts can be customized for temperatures that exceed or fall below your set limits. The casing feels a little on the cheap plastic side, but it looks good and the feel is irrelevant once it’s in position. The accuracy of the outdoor temperature readings depends largely on where you position the remote sensor. I originally installed it on the southeast side of my house, but the temperature showed about 10°F higher than the weather app on my phone. After moving it to the north side of my house, the temperature display was within 3 degrees with the weather app, which is acceptable for my needs. The variance probably is due to the differences between the weather station’s feeding my weather app and the exact location of the remote sensor.

Easy to set up and has great range
I got this unit during Prime Days to replace an older black & white wx station that had quit working. I am impressed. The display is colorful and very bright. What's most impressed me is the range I got with the outside sensor. My old unit had to be within 10-15' of the base unit, but this guy goes 30 or more feet out and still has a strong signal. I mounted it to a tree at least 30 feet away and have had no problems. It's best if the sensor is not in direct sunshine as it heats up and displays something other than the actual air temperature. I can't comment on it's longevity as I've only been using it for a week or so, but I can update this review later. One month later (Aug 17, '19): Unit has worked flawlessly over the month or so it's been running. The display is still bright and colorful and outside sensor is functioning well. The atomic clock is dead-on. I have my sensor about 30' away from the unit which is in my home office. I mounted it to a large vine that is attached to an even larger tree along our driveway. Unfortunately, it would get sunshine in the early morning there but I ameliorated that somewhat by using an improvised shade/shelter. I cut a clear plastic bottle roughly in half, painted it flat white and used the bottom of the bottle to attach it above the sensor (see pic below). Works fairly well and also protects the sensor from rain. It's important when doing this to allow for air circulation so your readings are accurate. So far, so good. No complaints.
