This remote works right out of the box...Excellent...

This thing was a pain in our butts from the start. It’s in Celsius (which is clearly stated), and I would have to press the buttons 10+ times to get them to work. Tiny range and would only connect when facing a weird angle a foot from the unit. Then, one day, I dropped it and it was all over. One small drop from a couple feet and it was broken beyond repair. We bought one for twice the price and it works perfectly. Choose something else.

Works from the get go!4 stars because some of the buttons stay pushed. Just an annoyance.

We live in texas, this remote only does the air conditioner part of the unit. Will not change to or turn on tje heater part. Brrrrrr
