I have no idea what colors came in this package or whether it was awesome or even it was 550 cord. The Scouts (Boy, Cub, Girl, Leaders, Parents and Siblings, too!!) devoured it and made all sorts of Christmas crafts, knot-tying competitions, finished up badges and rank, and some made bracelets.. Between the campout and one follow-up meeting, the whole kit was consumed in less than 4 days!Some really pretty rainbow colors and a purple/Royal Blue and white cord came out of the kit, because my daughter learned to make a "Christmas Tree ornament" from her brother, and she in turn taught a younger sibling using the purple/white cord. Two" trees" hang on our tree now.Included was a one-page trifold instruction sheet of how to tie a "Cobra knot" bracelet. The buckles you need to pay EXTRA CLOSE attention to their size!! These are TEENY and difficult for Scoutmaster fingers to open. The assortment of buckles allowed the Scouts to mix/match a bit.Photos are without flash and with flash to give you an idea of what's left in the color ranges and buckles. Sorry couldn't keep their paws off of the stuff.

What a major disappointment! Description says there were 10 different colors and I actually received duplicate packets that had the same color as well as black and white. Buckles were an assortment of black, brown and green -- none of the other colors shown in the picture.After posting my review, I was contacted by Customer Service at West Coast Paracord with the following offer: "We read the review and want to help improve the experience. We would like to offer another Camo AND Colorful Kit, hand picked by our sales team to insure accuracy. If this will help better the experience and review, please let us know and I will make it so."I agreed to the offer and today received the paracord. The colors were just what I wanted. Would definitely order from West Coast Paracord again.

The cord is slightly more shiny than I thought based on the product images and not all of the buckles are great matches to the cords I received. Otherwise, it’s been a great product. The cords are strong. It’s easy to assemble. The instruction card is helpful.

I received my 'colors may vary' paracord today, which means just that, they vary, I use this for my paracord tutorials on YouTube, Tim, from Weavers of Eternity, has a vast array of tutorials relating to paracord weaving, that being said, this paracord is of good quality, I have no problems with it whatsoever, and if you don't like the colors , send it back in, you only bought paracord, not a Lamborghini.

Loved these! Colors were true to the picture and the texture is smooth. Very easy to work with! I used this product to make 10 double slip knot puppy collars to label the 10 puppies my female had. All the other puppy collars had Velcro that other reviewers were reporting caused sores to develop on the babies so I went this route.

I was hesitant to order this pack due to the disappointed reviewers who got poor color selections. But I am very happy with the kit I got. The kit is for my 5-year old granddaughter, so she can practice braiding. I got a hot pink/black cord, a lime green, an aqua blue, a bright yellow, red, plus some good darker colors.

Very happy! I was worried after I ordered and THEN read the reviews about bad colors, but the colors are great! They came from West Coast Paracord and I will make sure when I order again it comes from them. Thank you!

This paracord was well packaged, included great colors (even though it was "random"), as well as 10 buckle colors AND basic weave instructions. I was definitely thrilled with this purchase. First bracelet went as planned and turned out great (I have worked with paracord before). While prepping cord for the 2nd bracelet, the cord suffered a blowout, as seen in the photo. Right in the middle of the cord, of which I need the full length. So I'm one color down already. This is a well known company, one I WOULD HAVE ordered from again. But this was disappointing. And I'm left wondering when other colors might have the same ending.EDITED TO ADD: swapped the ruined cord for another, and went back to starting the next bracelet. AGAIN, suffered the same blowout in the 2nd color!! Now I'm 2 colors down!!!!!!!!!!!!!
