Really enjoy using this. I’ve made toasted mozzarella, tomato, and spinach sandwiches, grilled cheese, and peanut butter banana sandwiches. All turned out great. The toasting panels are easy to clean.Only downside was anything outside the toasting panels is hard to clean and it smooshes the sandwiches a little but doesn’t cut all the way through. For the price neither of these issues was enough to drop the rating. Really like it 😋

Seems kind of cheaply made, but it sure works good! The non-stick surface is a great feature too.

Sorry for the boring headline. Basically, its quick, it works well, cooks pretty much everything. Bit of a pain to clean.GOOD:* Heats up really quickly. Green light goes off, ready to cook.* Cooks everything, slice of raw onion cooked in a few minutes. Cheese & onion toasted sandwich, great.BAD:* Its all to do with cleaning: bits stick on it. Not exactly Teflon. I have to scrub pretty hard to remove the cheese and bits of toast.* OK, one other thing. If you dont use a good solid bit of bread, it can stick to the top of the toaster, ripping the sandwich apart when you open it up. Maybe, I should spray it with cooking oil?* It makes 2 small sandwiches, like really small ones.SUMMARY: for the price it does the job, needs a bit of trial and error finding the right bread, seems to be designed for a small slice of bread, cooks it really quickly. Makes boring sandwiches a lot more interesting.

This is a perfect thing to cook dinner for your family any night. Make a grilled cheese to go with some soup. Or you can make a Panini, or you can make Pizza pockets with it. But when you're done, it's easy to clean up.

I regret buying this Gotham Steel Panini Press—it’s a complete waste of money. After just a few uses, it stopped heating properly and now won’t even turn on. The build quality feels cheap, and the nonstick coating started peeling way too soon. The cut edges feature is useless, as it doesn’t cut the sandwiches cleanly, just smashes them unevenly. Plus, the indicator light is unreliable—sometimes it stays on, sometimes it doesn’t, making it hard to tell if it's even working. This product is not durable and poorly designed. I expected much better from Gotham Steel, but this was a total letdown. Save your money and get a better-quality sandwich press instead!

I was looking for a sandwich press with a safe cooking surface, and discovered this press. Something for a fun snack here or there. I hadn't had a grilled cheese since I was in my teens and have been wanting to try one that's been made on a press like this. Let me say, this made the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Way better than how I remember making them in a frying pan on the stove, and a lot quicker. Both sides toasted nicely, for me, in just 4 minutes(Tried 5 and a little to burnt for my liking. I believe recipe included says 5 minutes for a grilled cheese). Only issue with the press is cleaning it. The cooking surface is easy to clean, but whatever may leak out of the sandwich onto the exterior plastic is hard to clean off. When I bought it, I expected the cooking surface to be removable for cleaning/rinsing. Nope, regardless, I highly recommend this press. A lot of fun.
