I have cardinals that love to come to my bird feeder by the kitchen window. I get a kick out of watching them...I even know when they're there by their happy playful chirpy sounds. I wanted to ensure their continued visits by getting them bird feed they would like. This seems to be the ticket. Whatever ingredients are in there, my cardinals really like it (I think the black sunflower seeds are a fave). I like that the bag is big, it should last the whole season. The birds love luv this mix.. I purchased a ( higher priced brand thinking BECUS it said gourmet that they would flock and please don't waste money as I did the birds didn't like the "gourmet brand I bought' so I purchased this nice brand and I had so so so many birds iny yard ! I was so happy to see they were happy with the food I got them ..this kind brings em to the YARD !!! AND ITS A REASONABLE PRICE...WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

The birds here love it! I had to do a little extra squirrel-proofing. Because the squirrels tried going for it also. But I've got tons of birds with this seed. I'm not a bird person. So I wish I could call them all out. But I know there's cardinals, sparrows, finches. I've seen a woodpecker a few times. Something else I'm not sure what is. My only problem is that I'm going through it so fast. A 10 lb bag lasted 1 month for me in just 1 feeder.

We went from getting no birds in our backyard to getting a wide variety all day long! It's so fun for our kids to watch the birds and we love having some extra nature in our yard, since we live in the suburbs! The bird seed arrived quickly and wasn't damaged at all.
