My partner enjoyed this box!
I really wanted to have a taste of Japan, but I didn't much like what I ate in this box, which is due to personal preference rather than the quality, as my partner would say the quality of the box was excellent. A nice variety and some unique flavours and insights to each snack. I'd definitely recommend!

Very Good!
Nice experience, I only got through a few things so far, but stuff I tried so far is really good and I liked it a lot, the least favourite thing is the fishy stick, I've heard of them before and even tho it's not like something terrible, it's just not to my taste, I would eat it if someone offered, but it just tastes like raw fish 😂 still really cool just to try. It's obvious not £20 worth of stuff, you pay for experience, I would say there is up to £10 worth of stuff. Also, that KitKat was honestly tiny 😂 it could be much better for £20 lads 😂 it's a very interesting taste, but if you wanna share with someone you honestly don't get the chance to properly taste it (it was a decent KitKat tbh).Overall, a lot of good stuff just to try out, definitely found some favourites!

Unique but too pricey considering the contents. Poor weight, not as in item listing.
Excited for the box to arrive, I was a little concerned when it did arrive as the box seemed rather small, the weight of the box before opening it was 350grams (including the box) although item description notes 400grams and considering the empty box weighs 81grams, that's only 269grams of actual content...Everything in the box is light as a feather and would be stuff you would find similar in the UK in the 20p 30p price range, so really value wise you probably looking at £9 to £10 worth sweets. The item descriptions stated Ramune would be in the box, however it turned out to be a small container of powdered dilute Ramune which was quite the disappointment. The flavours are there, its nice and unique but poor value for money in my opinion.

Great stuff
Bought one of these for my daughter who is Japan crazy. We worked our way through this box over the course of a few days and it was a real eye opener as to how different confectionary is in some ways. If you're after unusual sweets and confectionary, this is definitely a box worth getting. You'll find a good variety of sweets, some may be familiar but the majority definitely won't be - finding a pistachio flavoured kitkat was definitely surprising, seeing as we're restricted to orange, mint and plain. They get all the fun stuff in Japan it seems!

A very full box of Japanese snacks - but of a novelty
My poor son was planning a one-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan just before the pandemic hit. Then, as things seemed to be opening up again, he began to make tentative plans again - only for omicron to play havoc with it all again. As a little Christmas fun gifts, I decided to get him some Japanese snacks as a sort of consolation prize/something to tide you until the real thing idea. This box seemed, to me, a reasonable price for quite a big selection of sweet and savouries. It wasn’t Prime one day delivery but it didn’t take very long to arrive. It comes in a medium-sized box which, when he opened it on Christmas Day, was absolutely filled to the brim, which made it seem a really good gift and a good deal. He’s enjoying the snacks - some of which are a bit out of the comfort zone of western tastes for snacks. But that is the point - a little taste of Japan. He thought it was a fun Christmas gift.
