Rain-Bird ESP-TM2 Indoor Outdoor Irrigation WiFi Zone Controller Timer Box and Link Lnk WiFi Mobile Wireless Smartphone Upgrade Module Sprinkler System (12 Zone)

My old Rainbird controller died after about 22 years and I was eager to replace it with one fitted with WiFi capabilities. The new controller is essentially an updated version of my old one with the WiFi module already installed. Replacing the old one with the new one was simple but not easy due to my lack basic electrical knowledge. The problem was that the Rainbird instructions show the wires to each station attached old school, looped around the bolt when, in reality the wire is shoved in straight and tightened down. I only figured that out by digging the old unit out of the trash. After that it was just a matter of minutes and the job was done.Setup was relatively easy although I did have some trouble with the connectivity also due to my 20th Century mentality. The unit functions as intended.Delivery was prompt and complete. I will certainly consider using the same company, Sprinkler Parts Wholesale, again.

Works as it should. Replacing the old one was a little challenging due to some extra wires but my friend figured it out. The wifi addition is the best part. Makes it so easy to set up the programming.

Works great was very easy to replace e the old one. Like the WiFi feature. Still working ok the wifi process of setup but very happy with the system.

Easy to replace my old rainbird with this new wifi rain bird. I can now set up, change, start, etc. great to be able to start my system from anywhere.

It was easy to replace my old Rain Bird controller with this one. It was also much easier to program. The WiFi enabled functionality along with the phone app make it very convenient to control the timer from anywhere.

Its great to be able to configure it over wifi. Hopefully this controller is supported in the Rainbird 2.0 app.

Easy to install as a replacement for the old controller. My husband replaced it very quickly. Also, it is very easy to set up irrigation settings in the app on the phone, now we do not need to go out to the garage to turn on irrigation.

This product is great. I had an old railbird 4 zone controller that worked, but it didnt have enough zones for my needs. My old controller also was not wifi compatible. I have a mostly apple homekit oriented home, and wanted a product to control my sprinklers via homekit. While this product does not advertise homekit capable out of the box, there are some work arounds using "homebridge" that reveal the all of the functionality of the controller in your apple homekit ecosystem. All in all to replace my old controller and have this up and running took me 30-60 minutes. The app also is very user friendly if you want to control your sprinklers just using the app on your phone/tablet.
