Q: Has anyone had physical activity on the frame, not just sleeping?

Yes. This frame is absolutely phenomenal, especially for bigger folks. I'm 6'7" and 325. My wife is 6' and 300. This frame is as quiet as a mouse, supportive, and barely even moves during Wild Monkey Aerobics. It's unbelievably sturdy and doesn't sag, squeak, or even wake up the cat sleeping under it during the most frenetic The Kids Are Asleep Green Light Seal Team Six-Style enthusiasm.

Q: What is the difference between the Elite and the Standard models?

It’s much more heavy duty. I had the standard and broke the weld points of the wire in a few areas during some “activities” where my knees were on it. The elite is much stronger and The supports are a lot thicker. Plus, it’s quieter, barely making any noise whereas the standard would squeak.

Q: is the elite worth the extra money over the regular?

I haven't tried the regular; but, I feel more secure with the more solidly built elite and I also took the revies of the regular into account in making my decision.

Q: I have several storage bins. What is the actual clearance under the bed. Is it a full 14"? (My tubs are 13 3/4 " tall. Will they fit?)

the size is 14" but there is a bar which means you will have to lift the bed a little to get a bin 13 3/4" tall out from under the bed even with a mattress is easily lifted.
