This is a wonderful gift for husbands, grandfathers, or other important men in your life. I bought one for my husband to start journaling in to give to our children one day. We have the paperback version and the pages were not flopped or torn. It was delivered in perfect condition. Would recommend, may even go back and get the Mom version for my mom.

Got this for my dad for part of Christmas! Absolutely loved it! I got my mom the other one! They do it together little by little while drinking morning coffee! It was a great price and great quality! Absolutely cannot wait to read and treasure them when finished!

I bought this for myself so my kids could read it when they get older. I like it a lot. Good price too and would make a great gift.

I grew up without a father for the first 16 years of my life, after he got out of prison, he was a changed man and wanted to be there for me. I didn't know a single thing about him, but this book is wonderful especially because we don't really know how to talk to each other that well.

This book really helped me understand my father. Sometimes it's easier to write it down than to talk about it. I'm so glad I bought this. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is the fact that it's pretty clearly designed for middle class families. My dad grew up in poverty, and had to skip several questions because they didn't apply to him (i.e., family vacations). But even so, it was a great bonding experience and one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Got the hardback option for my mom and dad. (I thought it would have better longevity.) I saw the reviews that they were made poorly or backwards/upside down, but I wanted to give it a shot. It came correct and in great condition! The questions are very thoughtful, but some could be more personal for some. We have some family drama/trauma, so it may be hard to answer all things when his parents aren't living anymore and his mom wasn't kind ever or around for the last 15 years. So I'd also keep that in mind if your family has the same.

Got this for my dad, hope he will do it. Im sure he has some interesting stories to tell.
