Love this table!
I absolutely love this table! It is solid wood and works perfectly in my space for one (aka me) as a console table, as a square puzzle table, and as a dining table when I have friends/family over. Delivery and assembly was super easy. As previous reviews have stated fully expanding the table and adding the leaves is difficult for one person but doable for me with the help of the wall. I mainly use the table as either console or square and love how easy it is to switch between those two options. Lastly it is just gorgeous and fits right in with my wood mission style bookcases. You would never know this classic, sturdy table with such an innovative “transformer” design was less than $500 on Amazon. I am now eying up the different styles of fruitwood folding chairs from Stakmore to match the table when I have to seat additional dinner guests. Don’t hesitate, just buy this table!

Looks nice
Table is sturdy. It does take 2 people to open it and add the leaf.

Wow! Amazing table!
I bought this table because I wanted something that could accommodate many people when needed, but be able to be stored in a little area. The dining area in my Townhouse isn't very big, and I don't have room to have a 6 person table there permanently. This table can go from a small desk to a table that easily seats 6, and can probably even seat 8. The description on Amazon says the table can be as small as a console table, but really it's the size of a small desk. The table comes with a top that can fold, and two leaves. When it's in the desk setup the top is folded. To get to the card table setting all you have to do is pull the back legs out until they click and unfold the top, no leaf is necessary. There is a hidden 5th leg and when the table is pulled out completely this leg comes out to add more support for the biggest setup. The table is made out of very nice hardwood, and it is sturdy. Set up was super easy, all I did was pull it out of the box and attach the legs.I bought six of the True Mission Folding Chairs in Warm Fruitwood Finish (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003UIUWAC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00) to go with the table. They're made by the same company and the chairs and table actually look like a set.The paperwork that comes with the table says that it is not meant to be at the biggest setting all the time, and I can see why they say that, If you want a table that can seat 6 at all times, there is no reason to get a convertible table. This table is perfect for what I need, most of the time set up as a smaller table that can seat 1-2, but can be changed to seat a good number of people when needed.

You know what you're buying, which is to say garbage, but that might be okay
Let's get real. This is not a good table, nor is it well-made or long-lasting. It is cheap, it looks maybe a little less cheap than it was, and it lasts as long as a cheap table will. The top has no support for anything heavier than a felt coaster, the "drawers" are fake and the metal handles will rattle like Scrouge and his chains any time you so much as breathe on this thing, and trying to shift between the sizes is like attempting to solve a puzzle to escape from one gulag to a second, larger gulag. The final straw for me, and the impetus of writing this review, was that while trying to make room to put in a leaf, my Hulk-like strength (I am a 5'5" white woman) was enough to rip every single hinge out of the table. I pulled eight screws out of this thing like it was margarine, because this table is as soft and cheap as margarine.Don't get me wrong - you could do worse. Absolutely. This table will last probably 2, maybe 3 years, of regular wear and tear before something serious gives way. It will absolutely happen. There is no avoiding it. But if you need a table in a pinch that doesn't look totally wretched, this might do. Know that it is going to fail you sooner than later. I'm not going to tell you to not buy it, in the same way that I wouldn't tell someone to not buy a 1998 Camry for 500$ - that's your business and your judgement. But be aware of what this is, what you're getting, and what to expect. Much like the Soviet Union or a subpar flan, it will give you the bare minimum promised and then eventual collapse. Good luck.

Quality poor. Concept good.
Table is just what I needed for my space. You do need to lubricate the slides by after that works great. It does weight about 100 pounds so it is heavy but it is weak when fully extended however the extra leg helps with that. My only reason for not 5 stars is the finish is not hard wood so any bump and it Nick's. For the price it was a good deal. I want to add to my review as I have used the table several times now for guests. The table is weak when extended and the last time one of the slides split. I had a terrible time trying to get it to close up. Now I am hoping it can be repaired. Poor quality if used as a full table. Wish I had found a drop leaf instead.
