The product is functional with Eufy doorbell as expected, no buzzing and heat.But I can see it was definitely used before, disappointed that they’re selling the second hard stuff.

Bought this to power an Amcrest video door bell and chime kit. Unfortunately, it’s not powerful enough (my fault for not reading up). You need at least 30VA at 16 volts for it to work (must be 16v, more than 16v fries the chime kit apparently). They are very hard to find but eventually found a 230v version in a European shop and ordered one. Hopefully, this will save someone making the same error!

Bought this in the hope that it would be quieter than the BG (British General) one that I got from Scre**ix which was the noisiest thing in the house, louder than the fridge! This one is silent, more expensive but no more humming, ah bliss. I got my BT8-24 direct from J&M Electrical Supplies and it did take a while to arrive. I have a feeling that it can be the luck of the draw with these bell transformers, one of them can be noisier than another one of the same make and model. But this one worked for me so posted a review which might help someone.
