Simple set up and good quality. I don’t have mine hardwired yet, the only issue I’ve had with it is not “on” and recording after not being on for a while.From research, I figured the blue light means “charge” and left it plugged into an outlet and it turns on after a while.I live in the south so it does get beat by the sun, it gets hot but still functions.App is easy to navigate.I have no issues with it currently!

Perfect dashcam, inside and out and I like that you can turn mic on and off as well as inside recording on and off. Only downfall is the WiFi is slow when I want to review recording, luckily I can just pop the sd card out and read it from my computer or phone and then it’s fast. Also if you buy this don’t forget to change the WiFi password so people don’t download your videos! Great for the price for inside and out recording.

I've only had this camera for a couple of days, but it seems to be better than most cameras I have purchased in the past. I use it in my commercial vehicles and although it's not connected to Wi-Fi during the day, when it comes into the shop I connect it and I can download the pictures if I need them. That's a pretty cool aspect of this camera. I plan on buying more because of that aspect.

The set up was very easy and the product came with all the manuals you could want. I would recommend a quick start guide in case customers aren’t in the mood to read a whole booklet. The picture is very nice but the application hasn’t worked for me to transfer videos. You can always access the videos from the SD card though! Great peace of mind and a budget friendly option

EDIT 02-28-24: Just bought another one for my wife Lisa...She absolutely loves it as it works great to record the trails she goes in with her Jeep Wrangler!!!02-11-24:I just received the COOAU Dashcam D30S and so far it's performed exactly as stated...I installed it on my 2021 GMC Sierra, just to the left and slightly behind the rear view mirror, using using the GM taped mounting bracket. The suction cup mounting bracket seems to work well, however I wanted to use the lower profile one.I plugged the dash cam into the USB port instead of the 12v adapter port (GMC Sierra's 12v adapter port is always on unless you move a 50 amp fuse). Upon turning it on I found the menu was easy to navigate and quickly set the dash cam up.I installed the Ficam app on my phone and was able to quickly connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi. I did notice that if you want to use the app outside the vehicle you will have to disconnect the dash cam and reconnect it to a micro USB (close to your phone) whenever you want to use the app. I can understand this as the dash cam has to be on when downloading video to the app.GPS seems to work okay, however I have noticed that when sitting still, especially inside a garage, the display sometimes shows that the vehicle is moving approximately 1 mph.So far the video looks very good on the small viewing screen and through the app. I've only had it installed for a day and have not used it a lot, so time will tell.The bright blue power and blinking red recording light are a little bit annoying when it is dark, however a small piece of electricians tape can take care of that. There's still a red dot on the screen that blinks when they dash cam is recording.I did not want to hardwire the dash cam to my vehicle at this time, as you need to purchase the wiring separately, so I guess it will not be using the parking mode (maybe at a later date).Pros:... Small profile... Easy to install with various options... Accepts up to 256 GB micro SD... Both cameras have good video... Can record front of vehicle, inside vehicle or both... View screen can show front of vehicle, inside vehicle, PIIP front of vehicle main or PIIP inside vehicle main... View screen can be set to turn off or go into screensaver mode... Navigation through the settings is very easyCons:... Blue power light and red blinking recording light are bright and annoying... Wiring harness to hardwire and be able to use parking mode has to be purchased separately... No internal battery, which would be nice to keep from having to hardwire dash cam to vehicle

First off used this product for years it was great loved it, but now I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. I had this review up on their app on Apple Store but doesn’t seem to matter so I’m putting here as well. Seems whenever you actually need the footage it’s gone or never recorded, like as you read it’ll just not record the entire minute around the event you needed to have captured it has happened over 200 times at least for me just hoping it actually catches the big one versus the close calls.Update(6-20-2025) used it a while longer still trash but seems whenever I almost have an accident around me or barely avoiding one the thing decides not to record that entire minute around the incident wouldn’t ever buy their products again, done all the formatting and restarting but nothing helps.(4-21-2025) Used these brand of cameras for years never had a issue until ficam app quit working switch to the COOAUDash app and now my camera when set to record every minute going down the road in the semi will record then not record, never in a set interval. Might go all day then when I need a clip it won’t be there has before or after it by one minute. Like today went to look for a clip and the whole trip was there until the event and after it for 15 minutes and recorded me pulling into my destination. It does a lot of good having the app when I never know if it’s going to always be recording or not definitely junking this brand of camera and getting something else. If the ones that made this app made the ficam app it’s all trash and will always be.

I use this for Uber and it is a good product

Amazing! My family own three different types of dash cams and this one is the far best. The app is much easier to use compared to other brands. Installation is simple like the others. Size is great since it’s longer horizontally compared to other brands; this helps not to block a lot of view on passenger side.
