Demeter Cologne Spray for Women, Black Ginger, 4 Ounce

if i were to compare the smell, it would be Nestle's Carnations; it smells so sweet and it's not overwhelming; for me, it's very subtle. i plan to mix it with my chocolate roll-on, maybe a shea butter lotion, or any warm and sugary lotion. it's perfect for the fall and winter, and overall it's really cozy. other than my chocolate roll-on, i mixed it with vanilla ice-cream (DEMETER) and it makes the smell more creamy, sweetened and vanilla waffle cone-ish :)

Smells good as soon as you spray it but seconds later gets a funky smell like rotten dessert just weird funky smell like if you didnt shower and sprayed it to cover a nasty smell so just imagine spraying it in your trash to mask the bad smell its so weird i wonder if i got a bad batch so sad cause at first it smells good not buying again maybe i will try a different scent not sure

This was such a good purchase it smells exactly like pink bubble gum 😍 however a little bummed my bottle came half empty I think due to the fact the top can twist off not like regular perfumes and the atomizer was not working properly but I fixed that one! If you were trying to get this perfume I would see about extra layers of protection if possible in the future!

I have been looking for a pineapple scent and have tried multiple. This one is a very accurate juicy pineapple and love the scent. Unfortunately it does not last more than 30 mins. More of a skin scent with very poor projection and sillage. Will keep but requires multiple applications throughout the day. Honestly bath and body sprays last longer than this does.

As a guy I never thought I'd be spraying pineapple all over me. I also never thought I'd be doing this daily.Well, when your wife finds it irresistible, you're just gonna do it.Now, here's some background.I have no less than 20 high end fragrances in my rotation, these include most of the YSL lineup, D&G, Armani, .etc. Go to a department store cologne counter and randomly point at something - I have it.I also have and wear Creed Aventus (a 2019 batch at the moment) so I know my stuff.Different smells for different times of day, weather, activity. All of that. I layer almost everything, even Creed.This is where Pineapple comes in. I layer this on everything, and it works.Sure, it lasts like 5 minutes and smells like I may or may not have spilled a can of Dole pineapple tidbits on me, but whatever, it smells awesome....especially when you layer it with a Spring/Summer (see: light & fresh) fragrance.YSL Y + D&G + Pineapple is what my wife has referred to as "Bath & Body Works For Men"Listen, I'm not out here trying to smell like a fruity teen fragrance from Sephora, but...let's be real. If the eyes of the opposite sex suddenly dilates and they get this weird look like they need to both smell and eat you; I'm gonna wear that every day.So I do.If you can't handle the attention, or for some reason prefer to be alone, I would recommend that you don't.

To start off: This spray is "Eau de cologne" concentration meaning longevity, sillage, and overall performance are extremely bad. When you spray it, it is in the air and on your skin immediately and smells amazing. But on anything but hot weather, it will be gone within the hour. The smell itself is an extremely refreshing and photo realistic pineapple scent almost like a pineapple fanta. This is great for the summer or a trip to the pool! Another thing I find interesting is that being a single note fragrance, you can easily layer on top of any other fragrance to add a fruity blast to any other fragrance you want. Overall an easy buy especially for the price.

I have a few Demeter scents, and while they are definitely unusual, they often hit the mark, if you want that sort of thing! I got this one based on some reviews I saw online (I really wanted a super nutty scent). Well, this one just doesn't cut it.One thing I've learned with these Demeters is you have to let the bottles macerate (sit in a dark spot for a spell) and then, the fragrance will get more intense and the longevity, while still not great, improves a teensy bit. Well, not with this one. This does NOT smell nutty like it should ( I mean it's called Macadamia Nut)- it just smells kind of like a barely almond scented marshmallow. Also, the bottle leaks when I spray it- which I know doesn't speak to the fragrance itself, and I'm sure it's not the seller's fault- they probably didn't know.For the price, it's fair. Although there are some pretty nice perfumes out there around the $20-26 mark that are going to make you WAY happier! But if your curiosity gets the best of you, as it did me- these Demeter scents are fun!I would just try to go to someone who decants them so you can buy a really small size/sample to see if you like it. I mean, they have scents like pizza, funeral home, mildew, rye bread- you name it!One by them I TOTALLY recommend is their Pistachio Gelato. You DO have to let it macerate for a bit and when you do, holy wow it is DEAD ON, and smells delicious! It just doesn't have lasting power. But I layer it with better perfumes- it goes PERFECT with Black Opium Illicit Green! And some Escada ones for a mix of nutty and fruity. Cheers!

So many of these scents end up smelling closer to Pine Sol, a fine product but doesn't inspire much holiday spirit. This spray smells much more like a tree than a cleanser. Bottle arrived tightly closed, no leakage.
