Perfect, works fine!
I have a water tank on the roof of my building. I installed this little guy on the pipe, and fit a gallon plastic jug around it to protect it from the elements.I ran a wire downstairs, installed it with a timer switch, and was done.It works perfectly. I honestly couldn't ask for anything more.Since I only activate it for a minute or so, I imagine it will pretty much last forever.Edit: Worked absolutely perfectly for two days - then quit working. I'm on the fence if I'm going to buy another one.

Very high quality, nice machining, a little loud
Used two of these for a live theater effect to control air from a compressor on cue. I'm impressed at how well it seals air, even at 100 psi. It is not quiet. It clicks pretty loudly so I had to hide it way offstage. I noticed that the 12v version is much quieter (from the reviews) but unfortunately 12v in my application would have been very difficult and complicated. Looking forward to years of fun stage effects with these

This was installed on a well sourced geothermal heat pump
Seems like it will last longer than the irrigation solenoid valve I was forced to use on the install. This opens to allow water flow through a geothermal heat pump.

Worked for 2 months then failed such that water was flowing even when non-energized - water everywhere.
Wanted to turn on/off a low pressure water line (3-5 PSI pressure) and the first one I purchased allow backflow when not energized but blocked forward flow when not energized. I thought this must be how they work, however it failed after a couple of months, allowing water flow even when non-energized. I ordered an exact replacement (since the original was not longer returnable) and it block air flow in both directions when non-energized and allows air in both directions when energized, so I am hopeful that this one will not fail as quickly.

Works great but 4 stars for loudness when activated
I am using this in aquarium aquaponics in my living room to feed the plants at regular times. The quality is probably over built for my needs and it feels rock solid. It works great but every time it opens/activates, the clicking is very loud so I will take away 1 star. If the description would have said that use the 12v version if you want less audible clicking, I might have gotten that and given it 5 stars so please write these kind of things in the description.

If you have to have lead free, this is the unit for you, 1/2 the cost of lead free brass, meets drinking water regulations.
