This seems to be very similar to the one that came with 3DS's back in the day. The cord also seems much longer than what I remember, but i may not remember that well. Great replacement for the original!

Works just fine, and I have not experienced any troubles from it. I notice that it has gone up about 5 dollars since I bought it a few weeks ago. No doubt it is to cash in on the new 3ds's lack of a charger. Kinda jerky business, but I can't say I don't get why.

This is amazing, it actually breathes life into your dying 3DS. Like I was getting worried, because I purchased a new 3DS XL and after a few hours of playing it was saying the power was running out. So I went to the box and looked around for ways to solve this, nothing! There is no way to charge your base 3DS, this seems like a critical flaw from Nintendo, a one time use game console? Am I supposed to throw it away after it runs out of power? Thankfully, I found this device, it actually plugs into the 3DS, then you plug it into the wall and a short time later it has power again! You don't have to throw away your 3DS XL any more! What a cost saver! Buy this today!!!!
