So far so good. I am not a technical person. I watched a video on YouTube on how to replace my computer battery and decided to take a chance and replace my own. The battery comes with all the tools you need to open your computer so you do not have to purchase any extra equipment. This battery seems to be working fine. Would not hesitate to do it again.

I've had the battery for nearly a year, and I just opened up to see if there was any expansion since that is what killed the original battery my laptop came with. Suffice it to say, none what so ever after a year. I'd also like to say it lasts longer than when the laptop was bought new by like an hour or so. Might be bad calibration from the factory or sitting around in stock for so long, but I can definitely say I'm happy with it. Little charge has been lost in that year since I've used it so I highly recommend this seller and company.

My laptop has had to be plugged In for 2 years because of the original battery dying. Finally took the plunge and ordered this battery based on an independent YouTube video showing how to change it. This product fit exactly and it was very easy to replace. It's so nice not to have to be tethered to a wall! Only time will tell how long this battery will last. But I can replace it .

Easy to change, next day shipping. My HP laptop is always plugged in except when traveling so I wonder if that might be part of my problem. I replaced the battery in January 2023 and now again in May 2025. I went with the same vendor because It was an exact fit. Lasted about 2 years 4 months, same as the original that came with the laptop. So, whether original or 3rd party, batteries don't seem to last. I really won't complain about $25 and it came with tools to make the change. Also, the same symptoms started happening as with the previous batteries. The charge would start going down, all of a sudden while plugged in it went to 95%. Over 4 days it went to 60%, so I ordered the new one just in case they sent the wrong one and I wasn't stuck with a dead laptop.

Got these batteries for my laptop and they work perfectly. Easy to install and the battery life is much improved. Very happy with this purchase.Unfortunately the batteries of the computers I bought were dead and these were an excellent choice.

I had purchased this battery for my HP laptop and found that the laptop could not be powered on with just the battery alone. I had to connect the power adapter to the laptop in order to get it to start up. Afterward, the power supply could be disconnected and the laptop could run on the battery by itself. But, when you shut the laptop down, after a few minutes you can't power the laptop back up on the battery alone. You need the power adapter to start it back up. On top of that, the computer loses its BIOS settings as well as loses the time and date.And it didn't matter that the battery is calibrated and fully charged. Even after calibration in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and a full charge, the problems persisted consistently.Needless to say, the laptop being unable to power up on the battery alone, thus requiring the power adapter to help get the laptop started, seriously negates its portability. And the inability of the battery to sustain the BIOS and internal clock despite being fully charged just adds to the annoyance.I requested a return and exchange of the battery and got a replacement battery. Unfortunately, the replacement battery has the same exact problems.Obviously at this point, it could only be concluded that the battery has a design flaw that prevents it from being an exact replacement to the original HP battery.I put in the original HP battery (which couldn't be used beyond testing because the original battery was physically bulged and would no longer fit in the laptop when fully assembled) and the laptop powers up on the battery alone like it's supposed to.I wound up ordering a battery from a different manufacturer (Ninjabatt) and that battery works exactly like it's supposed to. My HP laptop now can be powered up on the battery alone and the CMOS and clock are sustained.I'm sorry to say that I cannot recommend this battery from this particular supplier, not until its design defect is addressed.
