Life saver
I bought this because I was getting cut by the wires from my braces. I was very uncomfortable and the wire was poking out too far to be covered by wax or gooshi goo (which is amazing by the way). I live 1 hour and 20 minutes away from my orthodontist and I was getting tired of going back and forth every week. I tried two other brands of wire cutters and finger nail clippers( which proved to be awkward due to the wire being at the back of my mouth) the space is small and it’s hard to get light in unless you have some one that can hold a flash light for you, and they were not strong enough to cut the wire. Anyway the cutters are made of quality material and they are easy to use. They cut the wire with ease the only reason I’m not giving five stars is because they don’t hold the wire in, so it drops in your mouth and you will have to fish it out. Please be care not to swallow the wire. I accidentally did it once and I was uncomfortable for hours. I just kept eating bread and drinking liquids and eventually the wire moved, but I could feel it in my throat so be careful. Other then that. If you can’t find any that are designed to hold the wire that is cut buy these they will definitely do the trick.

They Don't Cut Ligature Wire
This is my first time purchasing ligature cutters on Amazon. I chose three different brands to try out, and this one is probably the worst of the three. It has poor build quality (tips dont align) and it does not cut .010 ligatures at the tip nor anywhere along the edge. They look fancy because of the yellow inserts, but I think they should focus more on the functionality of the pliers.
